Heartland Transfer Review

Reviews
Heartland Transfer is a timeshare exit company located in Crown Point, IN that may be able to help with your timeshare exit. The company has been in business since 2012 and is the same company as Go Away Timeshare that we previously reviewed. Having a look at the homepage of their website and a few things stand out. Under “The Truth About Timeshare” headline we see that the company says, “the only place timeshare gets sold is in those high-pressure timeshare presentations.” This is sort of true, but some timeshares are in fact sold on the timeshare resale market quite frequently. For example, Disney Vacation Club is a great timeshare product that is commonly sold on the resale market. Some timeshares in Hawaii are also commonly sold on the resale…

Global Business Consultants Timeshare Scam

Reviews
This is a short blog post to warn timeshare owners about a new timeshare scam being carried out by a company calling themselves Global Business Consultants. The company has an F on the BBB along with 3 complaints. According to online reviews and customers who have contacted us, Global Business Consultants contacts timeshare owners out of the blue and offers them a ridiculously high price for their timeshare. Usually, this scam is used for timeshares in Mexico. Global Business Consultants will tell you to wire them money for some sort of international transfer fee, and then your timeshare will be sold. This will not happen. You will transfer the fee, and never hear from them again. This is the oldest scam in the book when it comes to timeshare resales.…

Preferred Cancellation Services Review

Reviews
Preferred Cancellation Services is another timeshare exit company that may be able to help you cancel your timeshare. The company has been in business since 2014 and is based in Daytona Beach, FL. the_zendesk_webwidget When reviewing the company’s homepage, we see that PCS does not use lawyers to cancel your timeshare. Instead, the company claims that its process can get timeshare owners out of their timeshares without costly attorneys. This is becoming more common in the timeshare exit industry, so it’s not necessarily a red flag. However, the following statement made on Preferred Cancellation Services’ homepage is a red flag:  “If we do not get you released within one years time you will receive a full refund at that time upon request” This means timeshare owners must pay Preferred Cancellation…

Timeshare Cancel Center Review

Reviews
Timeshare Cancel Center is another timeshare exit company that may be able to help you cancel your timeshare. The company is based in Orlando, Florida and has been in business since 2015. As we review the company website, we notice that there is no address in the footer or the About Us page. Eventually, we were able to find an address, but it seemed hidden. A Google search of the address, 5036 DR. PHILLIPS BLVD. # 221 ORLANDO, FL 32819 UN, does not bring up any buildings, so it might just be a PO box. Most legitimate companies have a physical office location, but that’s not always the case. Just something to think about. Reviewing the website further and we are not able to find the names of anyone that…

Resolution Timeshare Cancellation Review

Reviews
Resolution Timeshare Cancellation is another timeshare exit company that can help you cancel your timeshare. The company is based in Orlando, FL and has been in business since June 2019. When reviewing the company’s homepage, the first thing that stands out to us is the recommendation to contact your resort first to see if a voluntary exit program is available. Some resort developers, such as Wyndham, have exit programs that you can use to exit your timeshare on your own without the help of a timeshare exit company. Many timeshare exit companies will not tell you that your resort has an exit program of its own because the timeshare exit company wants you to pay them thousands of dollars for a service you could easily do yourself with a simple…

No More Fees LLC Review

Reviews
No More Fees LLC is another timeshare exit company that may be able to help you cancel your timeshare. The company was started in 2012 and is located in Waunakee, WI. Taking a look at the company’s homepage and we see that this company is run entirely by a man named Clyde Masten. A quick Google search on this name doesn’t bring up anything too alarming other than an old story about hunting. This is a good sign. Sometimes we find that owners of timeshare exit and resale companies have a felonious past. The timeshare industry is riddled with scams so it can attract some nefarious characters at times. The homepage of the website talks about the difficulty timeshare owners face in selling their timeshare on the resale market. This is…

What Is Escrow & Why Is It Important?

Tips
Escrow is a third-party holding account that keeps your money safe while the timeshare exit service is being completed. If the timeshare exit service is not completed as promised, you can get your money back directly from the escrow account company. This is important because it holds the timeshare exit company accountable. The company must complete the cancellation of your timeshare successfully before it's paid. This gives the timeshare exit company incentive to complete the task it was hired to do. When you pay up-front, you don't know if the timeshare exit company is going to do what it says it is going to do. The company could take your money and never cancel your timeshare. This is why we recommend only working with timeshare exit companies that offer an…
