Timeshare Owner Justice Review

Timeshare Owner Justice is a timeshare exit company located in Boulder, CO, that may be able to help you exit your timeshare. They were founded in Oct. 2020, so have been in business for a little less than one year at the time of this review’s writing.

Timeshare Owner Justice Website

Our impression of the website for Timeshare Owner Justice is not a very strong one, upon extensive review. While it’s complete, in that it has plenty of general content about their processes and timeshare exit in general, it is neither very easy to read nor professional-looking. There are several kinds of fonts used on each page, and extremely long paragraphs that are somewhat repetitive. This is particularly the case on the Our Story and Our Process pages (both of which can be accessed via the top navigation bar, which is, in contrast, quite straightforward).

This is especially unfortunate in the case of the Our Process page, because this is the part of the website a potential customer would definitely want to spend the most time reading and learning from. But Timeshare Owner Justice isn’t very transparent about the details of their process — aside from saying they work with a “team of advocates and legal professionals” and that their “process exerts a lot of pressure utilizing consumer protection laws, as well as regulatory and government agencies.” They say that their “proven exit strategies” are “revolutionary and proprietary” but at no point say what those strategies are.

There is slightly more to this end on the page Our Services. That said, it speaks more to their goals in managing the timeshare exit process than what they actually do, aside from “apply[ing] pressure,” “go[ing] after [timeshare companies],” and “DEMAND[ING] that Timeshare companies correct any negative credit information they have reported.” We can speak to the goals that they list, which include the following:

  • Timeshare Contract Cancellation
  • Maintenance Fee Contract Cancellation
  • Mortgage Cancellation
  • Timeshare Claim Refund
  • Timeshare Exit Scam Money Recovery
  • Timeshare Education
  • Credit Repair

However, again, this is not going to be news to anyone who owns a timeshare and wants to get out of it. You are definitely going to want a bit more information than this.

The FAQ page does have a few more details about timeshare exit in general, and divulges slightly more about the overall process. Under the question “How does Timeshare Owner Justice get me out of my timeshare contract?”, they note:

  • “Timeshare Owner Justice has developed proprietary strategies and an aggressive process that will push back against the timeshare companies and sales agents and force them to be held accountable.  We accomplish this through a combination of expertise and tenacity, application of specific consumer protections and codes as well as the unique strategy of drafting and filing specifically targeted complaints with the agencies and entities that oversee and regulate the industry.  This will pressure the timeshare companies to release you of your obligation.”

While this is somewhat vague, it is perhaps detailed enough to satisfy a timeshare owner who needs help getting out of their contract. The other FAQs are similar in that, however nonspecific they come across, they use the right language about timeshares and seem to understand how to end a contract. However, all of this is, again, undermined by the look of the website, and by the nature of the content. Their page Why Us underscores this with its repetitive phrases and constant use of words like “pressure” and “aggressive,” supposedly to convince you that they will not go easy on the resort.

Ultimately, there seems to be a great deal of fluff on this website, which isn’t a red flag in and of itself, but it doesn’t really speak to this company having a great deal of substance when it comes to getting people out of their timeshares. We’d be more inclined to positively review a website that offered important information with far fewer words and repetition.

Timeshare Owner Justice Reviews

Seeing as Timeshare Owner Justice is a fairly new timeshare exit company, we did not find many reviews of their services, but there were a handful on TrustPilot and their BBB page. The six reviews on their TrustPilot page have given them 4.2 out of 5 stars; they are all straightforward and speak to their helping people get out of timeshare contracts. A few note that Timeshare Owner Justice did so after the customer in question was scammed by another timeshare exit company.

While Timeshare Owner Justice currently holds an A- rating with the BBB, they’re also unaccredited. This is something to keep in mind, because even though they have a handful of positive reviews on their BBB page, accreditation does not take a long time to complete. Their being in business for a brief period of time is more of a red flag than a reason for their lack of accreditation. When looking for a timeshare exit company, you should be sure that the one you choose has this verification in place.

Timeshare Owner Justice Cost

There isn’t a great deal of information in the way of what working with Timeshare Owner Justice will cost you. It is addressed on the FAQ page. Specifically, they say, “Each case is specific but the cost is significantly less than our competitors.” While this is not exactly helpful, you could conceivably use this “standard” to get quotes from other companies that you research, and then cite them in trying to get a quote from Timeshare Owner Justice. This would only be in the case of you calling them for a free consultation, which they, like many other timeshare exit companies, do offer.

One potential positive (though again, it’s unclear based on their wording and language) is their lack of reliance on a money-back guarantee. Typically, if a timeshare exit company uses this constantly on their website, it means that they require upfront payments. This is a major red flag, and we always warn timeshare owners to avoid any company that demands as much. Instead, look for a company that uses escrow for payment — this means that they do not get paid until their work releasing you from your contract is complete. You can learn more about why escrow is important on this page.

If you decide to get in touch with Timeshare Owner Justice, this is important to keep in mind so you don’t jump into working with them too hastily. Make sure that you are completely clear on what fees they require and what you’re being asked to do before you get started.

Summary

While Timeshare Owner Justice appears to be off to a decent start with their few past clients, there really isn’t enough information online for us to recommend them. If you are truly curious about working with them, you can more than likely gauge how professional they are via their free consultation. If and when you go this route, be sure to find out if they operate with escrow-style payments or upfront payments.

Otherwise, unless they build up a bigger backlog of successful timeshare exit cases, achieve BBB accreditation, and seriously refine their online presence, Timeshare Owner Justice will appear to be somewhat middling. It will be hard to gauge how trustworthy they really are until that happens.

Fortunately, there are several other timeshare exit companies that can help you with your situation.
