Resort Consulting Group Review

Resort Consulting Group is a timeshare exit service located in Van Buren, Missouri. They’ve claimed to have been in business since 2007 but their Better Business Bureau profile states they’ve been around since 2016. They are a veteran-owned firm that allegedly specializes in fixing any of your vacation accommodation troubles, including ending pesky timeshare contracts. Though they claim to tailor-make their solutions for every client, do they hold up to those claims, or do they fall short of the mark?

Resort Consulting Group Website Review

When we think of timeshare exit groups and what they are trying to market to potential clients, we expect professionality, solid credentials, and a website that showcases what they can do for you and how they can do it. Resort Consulting Group’s website doesn’t even fall short, it barely shows up at all. For a business that claims to have been practicing as long as they have, their web design is poor and the structure of the information is severely lacking.

The overall appearance of their site looks more like a low-budget modeling agency or a salon’s website. There is a single black and white stock photo of a model set as the background and the colors of red, orange, and yellow against the black and white backdrop only cheapens the website further. The use of stock photography and the configuration of the information they provide on the website are sloppy and poorly organized.

Reaching their ‘services’ page is even worse as the menu of what services they provide is organized like a basic numbered list and some of the services provided are a little bit ridiculous. They are one of the few sites we’ve seen that mentions pricing at all, it is just unfortunate how disorganized the subject matter is. They offer three free services and a few that are priced, but even the prices and services themselves seem off.

The three services they provide are a ‘Timeshare Advocate Evaluation’ where they will contact any timeshare company that has contacted you to determine their legitimacy. They offer ‘Timeshare Mortgage Relief’, and you can get a free quote for their services and what they think they can do to get you out of those payments. They also of course offer ‘Timeshare Cancellation’, and you can also call for a free quote to discuss your contract and your options.

The last free service they offer is something called ‘Accommodation Alternatives’, which doesn’t make much sense. It seems to be a way to help you get other accommodations should your timeshare service be insufficient. This doesn’t make much sense to us with the wording, so we don’t think this is a legitimate service, regardless of how it is offered.

They then break down four other services that they provide which are all marked with prices or price ranges for you to look over. While this is a nice addition, it also doesn’t make a lot of sense. They offer a ‘Simple Contract Review’ for $39.99, which is essentially looking over your timeshare documents and contract so you know what you’ve signed on for.

It seems silly to us that they would charge almost forty bucks to look over your documents and talk them over with you. While you may get a higher price from an attorney who would be looking over your documents, most free consultations cover looking over your contract. They also charge anywhere from $160 to $300 to give you a ‘Presentation Ride Along’, so you don’t have to attend your timeshare update meetings alone.

We think it is ridiculous to pay up to three hundred dollars to have one of their associates come with you to your next meeting. You also have to shell out another $40 for timeshare cancellation assistance which doesn’t seem right. They don’t further explain what most of these services mean and how exactly they’ll help you in the long run. You can also spend another $40 to have your perpetuity evaluated so you don’t possibly leave an unwanted timeshare to your children.

All of these services aside from one or two are typical timeshare exit services, but the way they’ve been priced or described doesn’t make sense to the reader. If you’re a potential client, we don’t see you reading into these any easier than we have and that’s the most important part. If your client can’t make sense of what you’re offering, you’re not doing your job. They do make it clear they are not attorneys and can’t offer legal advice, so you should take everything they are saying with a grain of salt.

The only further information they offer is their contact information and a sheet for you to fill out to get in touch with them. If we’re gauging their legitimacy by the website alone, this looks like either a poorly structured business or an absolute scam. It lacks any sort of professionalism in its design and the list of their services and costs makes little sense to anyone trying to read through.

There is little information available to the potential client to get a feel for who Resort Consulting Group is and what they offer to clients. We know what the red flags for scams look like and this has a few of them right away, but we would still like to take into account the reviews before we make our final verdict.

Resort Consulting Group Reviews

If you head on over to their Better Business Bureau profile, you’ll find three reviews for their services. They have no complaints and only three reviews available. Though they have a 5 out of 5 stars for their services, they don’t even have a rating from the Better Business Bureau as they are not considered an accredited business

The first name of the owner isn’t even spelled correctly on their profile, making it difficult to find much about him. When we searched him we found a Gerald W. Stracke who lives in Springfield, Missouri who we believe might be the individual tied to this business. Though further than where he lives and his age we weren’t able to find much else about him.

The three reviews you can find on their Better Business Bureau profile are all 5 stars. They are all from just last month and they have the same structure and similar words. All of them are short and sweet, mentioning how helpful the associates were and how much they recommend the company.

These reviews being legitimate does not seem likely as the similarities, when they were posted, and the choices of names seem too convenient to consider. You won’t find any other reviews floating around the internet either, which really leads us towards believing that this company is either the most poorly managed timeshare exit service in the world, or it is a scam. For more information on how to spot scams and avoid them, check out our blog.

Resort Consulting Group Costs

The only thing they seem to be somewhat upfront about is their costs. The four services they offer outright costs for tend to be roughly $40 each, but for one it varies between about $160 and $300. We don’t believe for a second that these are the only costs you’ll incur using their services and hidden fees or extra costs seem to be lurking around the corner.

This is why we strongly advise against using any service that doesn’t offer information about their payment plans and the full costs of their services. Clients deserve to know what they are getting into before they get into it and unfortunately not many timeshare exit companies are transparent enough to do this before the no-cost consultation. The consultation itself is problematic as well as it gives them the power to contact you even if you don’t wish to use their services.

We also strongly advise against companies that don’t offer escrow payment options. Using escrow payment means that you have the ability to get your service done before your money is even released to the party involved. This is important as it keeps timeshare exit companies honest and ensures that you know exactly what you’re getting into before you get into it.

If you want to learn more about escrow payments and why they are important, check out our blog post on how to spot a scam. Though it doesn’t have all of the telltale signs it does deliver on being underwhelming and downright lacking communication.

Summary

All in all, if you’re looking for a trustworthy timeshare exit company, you’re not likely to find it here. Their website isn’t even suited for their needs and is lacking any relevant information to make your timeshare exit journey any easier. The company is contradictory and doesn’t offer any legitimate insight into their business practices or offer any helpful reviews.

You’d be better off with a more well-known company that can provide you with more information upfront about their services. But if Resort Consulting Group falls severely short of the mark on all accounts.

Titan Exit Group Review

Titan Exit Group is a timeshare termination service located in Costa Mesa, California. They have been in business since 2019 and claim to be the solution to your timeshare headaches. One of their biggest missions is to give unhappy timeshare owners some relief from the hefty timeshare fees and fighting with their resort. While they seem genuine with these hefty promises, do they actually hold up to their own mission statement?

Titan Exit Group Website Review

The initial impression of the website is underwhelming at best. It has the same gestalt of the typical mediocre timeshare exit company with the poorly rendered stock photography and the business statement that drops at the moment you begin navigating the landing page. The initial statement is a little bit kitschy as well claiming that they take care of everything legally, ethically, and forever. To get to their contact page you have to click on a small tab that says ‘how do I get out’, which isn’t really a professional way to get people to your contact information.

The website’s general appearance isn’t the worst we’ve seen, but it definitely doesn’t give off a professional appearance. While we normally wouldn’t be nit-picky about the font either, it isn’t something that we’d attribute to a website that offers legal help. The font and stock photo choices don’t suit the professional and legal nature of the business and it cheapens the overall effect.

They also claim they were mentioned on Fox News, Fox Business, and CNN, though we aren’t given anything definitive about how they were mentioned or why. Their landing page has a video included to provide more information about why you would contact them and if you’re tired of your timeshare you should get a hold of them. The rest of the landing page is a small section dedicated to what they do and how they do it, but it is mostly fluff and doesn’t provide much to really describe their business process.

They claim to investigate your case, advocate for the cancellation of your contract, and then they resolve the issue for you. If you are looking for further information, they show a few of their blogs on the landing page to give you a sneak peek at their actual blog section offers. The only other information you’ll find on their landing page is their contact information, contact sheet to get in touch for the free consultation, and their headquarters address.

If you do decide to navigate over to their ‘how do I get out’ section, you won’t get much out of it. They only really mention why someone would get a timeshare and why you might want to get rid of it. They describe timeshares as money pits that don’t have any resale value and that it can be incredibly overwhelming to hold onto one of them. They claim that they are the best chance to get free from your timeshare without the hassle and pain that some timeshare exit services or attorneys might put you through.

If you’re hoping to learn more about Titan Exit Group in their ‘about us’ section, you aren’t going to find anything helpful. Even on their Better Business Bureau page, you’ll only find their contact information and there’s very little to back up their credibility. We don’t typically recommend timeshare exit services that don’t have much information about their credentials on their website or their Better Business Bureau profile.

Overall the website itself is underwhelming and we don’t like how little information they provide. Most of the information available is filler text and doesn’t make them look very credible. We could chalk this up to a lack of experience, but even then it seems like the website itself is on the weaker end of the timeshare exit companies we typically review.

Titan Exit Group Reviews

If you’re looking for testimonials that will help you make a decision about whether you should use the service or not, you’re going to be a little hard-pressed to find them. Titan Exit Group has no active reviews on their Better Business Bureau profile, and other than the reviews on their website from satisfied customers there isn’t much else to go on.

They do technically have an A rating from the BBB and are accredited by them, but there is nothing to back this up for potential clients to look at. If you want to see what they do well, you can peruse their vague testimonials from happy customers on their website, but we find those reviews tend to be lacking in substance and credibility. Any timeshare exit service can post up reviews on their website and claim they are legitimate even if they aren’t.

While we don’t think this leads to them being a scam, we do caution potential clients to be wary when they decide to contact the group for help exiting their timeshare. With the lack of information about who owns the company and who runs it, you don’t know who is going to be answering the phone when you contact them. These groups tend to get your information and then hold onto it even if you decide not to use them.

Navigating the exit from a timeshare is difficult enough without having to field spam calls and emails from a company you don’t even want to use. Without any information on a LinkedIn or their BBB profile as well, you could be putting yourself into a situation that could end in utmost disaster. With no point of reference and no credentials available for a business, it can be incredibly risky to contact a company that essentially has no presence.

You won’t know what you’re getting into and you could end up losing money or putting yourself in a complicated position while also navigating the issues with your timeshare resort. If there is no research to be done, it is best to proceed with caution until you can gather any further information.

Titan Exit Group Cost

We’re seeing a recurring theme with this company and we’re not finding any information on how much their services cost or what their payment plans look like. Even though they’ve only been around almost two years we don’t think that following the same formula as other timeshare exit companies is the best way to proceed. With only a free consultation available and no information about their services or costs before you take it, you’re left to either wonder or contact them.

They also don’t offer any escrow payment options outright, which is something we tend to recommend. Escrow payments not only protects you from losing money, but it ensures that your case is handled completely before any payment is sent through to the company. They have to complete their end of the contract before they get anything from you.

This is an important element that can make potential clients feel more comfortable with the company before they hire them. It may hurt the business to have their information fully upfront, but it can also keep them from getting potential clients as most people don’t want to go blindly into a consultation with a company they know nothing about. If you want to learn more about why escrow payments are so important, take a look at our blog.

Summary

Though they are still a relatively new timeshare exit service, Titan Exit Group is severely lacking in any relevant information a potential client might be looking for. Their website is outdated for a company that only started in 2019 and they have a lot of text on their landing and subsequent pages, but nothing of substance. They only really list what you already know about timeshares and why you would want to exit your contract.

Even their FAQ section is lacking in substance and you won’t be able to find any information about who runs the company or anything confirming the credibility of the group itself. This is concerning, considering you’ll be asking them to help you with legal work and handing off your money and personal information. So even if the company is just new and figuring out how to navigate the market, they could be more upfront about their services rather than filling up their website with fluff that doesn’t help potential clients.

While this doesn’t have the telltale signs of a scam, there are some red flags that shouldn’t be ignored. It is best to do as much of your own research as possible before you hire a timeshare exit company officially. There are also plenty of other companies that can do what you need while providing plenty of information about their services and what to expect before you even contact them.

All in all, if you can find another company that has even a fraction more information available and some reviews to go off of, you’ll be better off with them than Titan Exit Group. It isn’t a bad

Resort Cancellation Services Review

Resort Cancellation Services is a timeshare exit service located in Orlando, Florida. They have been in business since 2017 and claim that they offer a 100% money-back guarantee if they can’t cancel your timeshare. They also state that they can cancel your timeshare with any developer and that they will shut down any nasty or annoying phone calls, service fees, and credit problems for good. But with all these hefty promises in place, can they really stand up and deliver on them?

Resort Cancellation Services Website Review

The landing page for Resort Cancellation Services looks well organized if not a little bit cheesy. Though they went into business in 2017, the design is a little outdated and could use a modern touch-up. Immediately they mention they are a legal timeshare cancellation service and offer up a contact sheet so you can sign up for a free consultation right away.

They also claim that even though they’ve only been in business about four years, they have twenty years of experience within their team alone. There doesn’t seem to be a way to back that up though, which is something we find a little frustrating about some timeshare exit companies. They claim to have more experience than the years they have been in business but don’t provide much to back up those claims.

Most of the information provided on this landing page is your typical, run-of-the-mill statements about being timeshare exit experts who’s biggest goal is to give their clients some peace-of-mind when it comes to their timeshare troubles. Most services make these generic claims without outrightly saying how they will do so. They also say they have a six year proven timeshare exit strategy, but everything we’ve found states they have only been in business since 2017.

They do offer some perks that not all timeshare exit companies have, like a dedicated team to help rebuild or protect your credit during the process. They also promise to check in with you monthly to show where they are in the cancellation process, which is something a lot of timeshare exit companies lack. Most say they will stay in communication with you during the process but then they become difficult to get a hold of when you need to speak with them.

They allegedly have a 100% success rate and nothing on their Better Business Bureau page seems to challenge this. They offer some credibility to back up this statement as well, providing a page with case result documents that you can view from real clients. Out of over 2,100 clients they’ve helped, they’ve managed to cancel more than 1,930 of their contracts. Since they claim to have a 100% success rating, this leads us to believe that the other 160+ clients contacted them for other matters.

You can also apparently call them to ask questions if you have any further inquiries but we aren’t told if this counts as your free consultation or not. They do say they guarantee results and that they take an individual approach to every timeshare cancellation so your whole process is entirely personalized. We aren’t sure how true this is because a lot of companies make this claim but they don’t take a personal approach to your cancellation.

They claim that until you take your free consultation you won’t find anything about your options, strategy, and your payment options. This is unfortunate for clients who are looking to know how much the service will cost before they even contact the service. A consultation beforehand means your contact information is handed off to the service before you’re sure you want to use them.

This opens you up to the potential of scam calls and spam emails that only make your timeshare exit process that much of a hassle. They do offer attorney services though, which can put potential clients more at ease with the service provided. Their alleged legal team apparently works diligently with every contract they are given and they have a 98% success rate.

They also offer a timeshare cost calculator, so you can be aware of how much your timeshare is costing you and how much it will continue to cost you. They have a small blog as well as an FAQ section that offers vague answers to questions like how much RCS’s fee is and if their credit will be affected during the process. They don’t give a definitive answer as to how much their services cost.

There is nothing particularly different or special about their website, it seems like the general run-of-the-mill timeshare exit company website.

Resort Cancellation Services Reviews

From the single review on the RCS Better Business Bureau page and the 21 Google reviews, we are led to believe the company is as trustworthy as they claim. There are no negative reviews and only one dips below 5 stars, landing at 4 stars instead. Every review claims that the service is entirely legitimate and acted professionally while handling their cases.

They claim the company is incredibly responsive and knows how to get the job done. While of course we can’t confirm or deny these claims, it does seem there is overwhelming evidence that at least a majority of clients have had a positive experience. The only thing that mildly concerns us is the lack of accreditation by the Better Business Bureau.

They have only been in business for about three years so it may be that they haven’t had enough time to gather negative reviews yet. Though the positive reviews do look promising for a small company that has just essentially gotten their start. We still recommend that you proceed with caution considering you can never fully trust a company right off the bat.

If there’s only positive reviews to go off that isn’t a negative thing, but you should try and do your research and take in as much as you can about the business before you make any decisions. Though the positivity about RCS is a good thing you don’t want to end up being the inevitable negative review because you went in blind. When you take your initial consultation with them you shouldn’t be afraid to ask the tough questions either.

You should take notes and get an intimate idea of how long they think it’ll take to cancel your contract, how much it will cost, and if they think they can get you out of it. Don’t be afraid to stay on the phone with them awhile so you can get all of your questions answered rather than dodged. It may seem like you’re pestering them for answers, but it’s better to know upfront what you’re working with before you put any money down.

Also look for signs of possible scams like dodging questions, giving vague answers, taking upfront payment but not giving a timeframe, repeated calls or emails even if you’re still thinking over whether you’ll use their services. If you want to know more about what to look out for as far as scams go, check out our blog.

Resort Cancellation Services Cost

There aren’t any definitive details showcasing how much their services cost, though they do offer a free consultation. This is an entirely common aspect to most timeshare exit companies to try and gather a client base. They tend to keep most of their information about costs and payment plans away from potential clients before they can get them in for a free consultation.

This enables companies to get ahold of client information before they actually provide a service. This opens those potential clients up to scam calls and spam emails that will only make the process of their timeshare cancellation that much more frustrating. This is also why we recommend going with companies that offer escrow payments.

If you’re not 100% comfortable with a company, the escrow payments offer a bit of comfort and assurance that your case will be handled one way or another before your payment is processed. If you want to learn more about why escrow payments are so important, we’ve got you covered.

Summary

If you’re looking for a service that has solid customer reviews and enough information on their website to pull in potential customers, Resort Cancellation Services isn’t the worst company to go with. They seem to offer some solid solutions and via their positive reviews they allegedly provide helpful and timely solutions to your timeshare exit needs. While you shouldn’t immediately trust them regardless of how good they appear on the outside, they offer a little more assurance than most run-of-the-mill timeshare exit companies.

Their website is a little bland and lacking in substance, but their reviews seem to be solid and honest about their services. We do recommend that you take the consultation with a grain of salt and don’t be afraid to ask the tough questions. You should have everything up front or in writing so you’re not left wondering what you’re agreeing to.

So if you’re thinking of using Resort Cancellation Services, you might actually be in good hands.

Relief Solutions International Review

Relief Solutions International is a timeshare exit company based in Springfield, Missouri. They have technically been in business since 2008, but they were recognized by the Better Business Bureau in 2012. They claim to be the easy, affordable solution to timeshare scam woes but though companies make this claim, we know they often don’t live up to the expectation. Can RSI change our minds?

Relief Solutions International Website Review

If you’re looking for the term red flag in the dictionary, you may just find this website. We had to find their website link from their Better Business Bureau page and even then it was broken. The landing page immediately says you can’t find what you’re looking for and you won’t see anything until you navigate to their ‘About Us’ page.

It doesn’t get much better from that point. They only really list the reasons why you might want to get out of a timeshare and that they will only accept payment for services they provide, but they do not list those services. They then provide a page for their contact information and that is the entirety of the website and while short and sweet can be helpful, it isn’t what you want from a company that is going to provide a legal and financial service.

Typically our review of websites tends to be longer, but with little to no substance and a broken landing page, we’d like to focus more on their reviews and testimonials. Where the website is highly lacking, you’ll find reviews and complaints in droves on Yelp and their Better Business Bureau profile.

Relief Solutions International Reviews

RSI LLC has a shocking 2.85 out of 5 ratings and an F from the Better Business Bureau who has not accredited this business. They have 12 customer reviews on their BBB page and a startling 160 complaints, 60 of those closed within the last year and 100 of those within the last three years. On Yelp they have 1.5 stars and 19 reviews in total and only three of those are positive reviews.

Without even reading these complaints and negative comments, we are already set on high alert that this is a scam. A company may get one or two complaints or a negative review or two and still be considered a viable choice, but this is completely unacceptable. Not only do their complaints and negative reviews outweigh the positive, but they also have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau which takes more skill to accomplish than you’d think.

There are a small handful of good reviews that are pretty generic in their content. They thank RSI for helping them get out of their timeshare and that they had been scammed by other timeshare exit companies before. This seems to be the generic schtick we see from a lot of 5 or 4-star reviews on timeshare exit company pages, that they are essentially unlike any other company in the market. We don’t put a lot of stock into these types of reviews as they often pit other timeshare exit companies against them in order to make them look more credible, but it often has the opposite effect.

It makes the client wonder why their own accomplishments didn’t stand out as much as the fact that they were better than a bad company. We also don’t like that many of the positive reviews mention you need to be patient in order to receive good results from this company. This is concerning considering you may still incur maintenance fees and other yearly costs from your timeshare while you’re waiting to be released from your contract.

The negative reviews are even more concerning than the positive ones, most of them are claiming they paid fees anywhere from $5000 up to an alarming $20,000 in the span of time they have been working with the company. There were even some commenters saying that they had been told the release would take twelve to eighteen months, but they still haven’t had results five years later. Many of these commenters are also claiming that they asked for refunds after years of no contact or movement on their cases and were asked for more money or called uncooperative.

The Better Business Bureau has even issued a statement that they do not recommend conducting business with this company as there has been a trend of complaints of fraudulence, failure to honor contracts, failure to cancel timeshares in the timing promised, and failure to issue refunds. When the Better Business Bureau is even claiming you’re a scam, it is safe to say that the company is a scam. But let’s dive a little into the complaints that have been brought up against them.

Multiple complaints mention that several thousand dollars were exchanged and yet nothing was done to get them out of their timeshares. The company itself was responding to comments explaining that clients weren’t eligible for refunds, though they were quickly shut down by clients saying they had asked for a refund before their eligibility ran out and they wanted their refund to be honored. This seems to be a common thread in most of these complaints, not to mention many customers mentioning that their money was taken and time passed but the company ultimately withdrew without helping them.

The general gist of these complaints seems to stem from Relief Solutions International promising to release clients from their timeshare in 12 to 18 months and then the clients receiving no further contact or having to jump through hoops to get anything done. They also complain that exorbitant fees were taken from them and that when asked for updates or even refunds due to inactivity, they are denied. This is without a doubt improper business practice and it helps you understand why the Better Business Bureau has warned individuals about conducting business with this company.

One of the most immature things to read as a response from the company is that their client is not entitled to a refund if the process has not been completed when they are not conducting their business as advertised. Clients are being told they are ineligible for a refund because the process has not been completed, but the company is often taking 3 years or more to even get anything done. Not to mention, they are asking for extra fees and changing who their clients are working with repeatedly within their legal team.

This screams to us that even if the company is a scam, they are completely unprofessional and are falsely advertising their services.

Relief Solutions International Cost

This is something we’re not entirely sure about, and from the evidence, we’ve seen we don’t know if there is even a method to their madness. They appear to charge clients anywhere from $3,000 to $7,000 initially and then are asking for more money to process paperwork or work with their legal team further. Some clients have stated they’ve allegedly spent from $14,000 to $20,000 on this service alone.

While we aren’t sure how much of that rings true, it seems to be a recurring theme that this company charges $500 to $2000 in additional fees after the first payment. They then take more than the 18-month maximum to get anything done on their client’s cases. Most of what we’ve seen has stated that they greatly surpassed the 12 to 18 months and it has been 3 ½ years with no progress.

This is exactly why we believe escrow payments are so important. They save clients from having to pay expensive fees upfront without any work being done on their cases. With escrow payments, you can be assured that your timeshare exit company does its job before your money is released to them.

To find out more about escrow payments and why they are so important, take a look at our blog.

Summary

If it wasn’t already evident at this point, you absolutely should not use Relief Solutions International as your timeshare exit company. Not only does their website not provide any relevant information, but it also has no landing page that is currently active and unbroken. Furthermore, the Better Business Bureau has issued a warning for any clients who might still be considering RSI that they should avoid them at all costs.

They have received multiple warnings and complaints from dissatisfied customers that this company does not deliver on their promises, refuses refunds, and misleads clients. There are 160 of these complaints available to be reviewed on their BBB profile and you can also find more unhappy customers in their Yelp reviews. For a company who has been in business for as long as they claim to be, you would expect more positive reviews to help balance out the negative ones but there are very few.

Property Relief Consultants Review

Property Relief Consultants is a timeshare exit group located in Whitefish, Montana. This consulting group has been in business since 2016 and claims to be one of America’s most trusted consulting firms. They allegedly can help get you out of your timeshare contract in twelve months or less or they’ll offer a full refund for your trouble. Though they make this hefty promise to potential customers, do they actually hold up to it?

Property Relief Consultants Website Review

They immediately assert to the potential client that their mission statement is to eliminate timeshare fees permanently, but their website leaves a lot to be desired. It isn’t impressively designed and appears a little outdated even though the group has apparently been in business since 2016. The website looks more like it was designed in the early 2000s at the very latest rather than only 5 years ago.

Your initial impression is based upon the landing page, which shows a gold seal promising their 100% money-back guarantee. The rest of the landing page offers little further information, showing only that they promise to get your timeshare transferred out of your name in twelve months or they’ll give you your money back. The only other information found on their landing page is their contact information and where they are located, so it’s a pretty poor first impression.

If you click over to their ‘About Us’ section, you’ll find their vision statement. This essentially lays out that they believe the timeshare industry is deceitful and they wanted to help combat some of that and help consumers be relieved of their timeshare burdens. It then gives you a little background on the owners of Property Relief Consultants, Dan, and Sherry Stapleton. They claim to have over twenty-five years in the timeshare business and that seeing it firsthand is what helped them to realize how dishonest and corrupt the industry could be.

You’re also given a little bit of background on two other members of the consulting team, Keith Deal who is the Director of Operations of the Western Division, and Lisa Allen who is the Director of Operations for the Eastern Division. Both of them have over ten years of experience in related industries, making them valuable additions to the team. This section does give us a little bit of credibility for the consulting team, which helps when you’re trying to establish if a company is legitimate or not.

Their ‘Timeshare Cancellation’ page acts more like a frequently asked questions section where they answer things you might be curious about before you do a consultation. They answer basic questions like if you need a lawyer to get out of your timeshare, or if you can cancel your timeshare after the rescission period. The questions and their subsequent answers aren’t incredibly helpful and they don’t give you much more than you’d find from any generic timeshare exit company.

You can also look at their testimonials, but as we know the testimonials offered on the website of the service are not always the most honest. They tend to be the most favorable reviews you’ll find about the company or service, and there are no guarantees they are legitimate. If you’re wanting to find more honest reviews you’ll be better off looking at a Better Business Bureau page.

There isn’t much else to the disappointing website, to say the least. We’ve learned only a little about Property Relief Consultants and we can’t see how most people would choose to go into the consultation without knowing much about the group. You should be wary about any company you’re expected to give your contact information to before learning much about them.

All in all, we weren’t impressed by their website, but their reviews might be more promising.

Property Relief Consultants Reviews

Here’s where you’ll learn a bit more about Property Relief Consultants as a whole. You can usually get a good idea of how a company actually functions from their Better Business Bureau profile. This is typically where you’ll find reviews, complaints, and even confirmations about the legitimacy of the company itself. You’ll find on this BBB profile that they have 3 customer ratings in all, but they have 6 complaints and a B rating which tell you a lot about the company itself.

You’ll also find that this business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which is alarming for a group you’re expecting to help handle your legal business. The three reviews they have available are all 5 stars, but that doesn’t tell us as much as the complaints and their ratings do. All three mention Dan Stapleton specifically and how they were more trustworthy than other companies they’d tried to contact.

One even mentions another timeshare exit company by name and claims that they are a scam, to help assert that Property Relief Consultants is more credible. Though these reviews seem nice, they aren’t what interests us about their Better Business Bureau page. We’re more interested in those six complaints and why those have knocked their rating down to a B.

The most concerning thing about these complaints seems to be that the responses back from the company claim that the complaints are invalid only because they were able to get the timeshare canceled in the allotted 12 months. Even if the complaint has nothing to do with how much time the cancellation took, they continue to bring up this fact and act as if they upheld their end of the bargain. Most of these complaints have to do with dealing with third parties and being charged extra for services they weren’t told they would need.

They seem to completely ignore other concerns and allegedly they have a third-party company called Switch It Escrow that handles their final paperwork. While we are glad to see escrow mentioned, we aren’t fond of the fact that most of these customers are being charged more to work with this third-party service as well. You can definitely see why this group has a B rating, and likely why they aren’t accredited.

Property Relief Consultants Cost

While we don’t get much information from their website regarding costs or payment unless you contact them initially, we can get a little bit of an idea from their BBB complaints. We can see that some clients were charged anywhere from $720 to $1550 and that extra services from Switch It Escrow cost $100 or more. Even with their 100% money-back guarantee, this seems like a shady business model and we would even go as far as to say it sounds like a scam to bring in a third party and charge the client more money.

We are not entirely sure how much initial services cost and how much extra charges or monthly fees you’re incurring the longer they work on your contract. We also don’t like how there seems to be a variance in how much customers are charged but aren’t given an idea of what to expect. You should have an idea of how much you’ll be paying before you ever give out your contact information to the company.

This is typically how scam companies get a hold of you as you’re expected to contact them first to get any information. They then have your phone number and /or email to call or email you whenever they feel like it. This is concerning, especially if you’re not going to use their services as they can still contact you even if you’ve decided against their help.

Summary

You’re expected to use what little you can find on their website to make a decision about whether they should help you with your timeshare cancellation or not. This isn’t a good business practice as timeshare cancellation tends to be an extensive legal process and if you can’t trust the company helping you get there, it’s essentially like falling into another scam. You’ve already been through the wringer with your timeshare company, why should you have to deal with shady individuals in your cancellation company as well?

Make sure to check out their Better Business Bureau page, especially considering how little is available on their website. You’ll get a better idea of how competent and trustworthy their company is from their BBB page, rather than what little you can find on their website. Also, make sure to do more research before you decide to submit your contact information to them.

Holding onto your burdensome timeshare can be frustrating and even feel downright helpless at times, but it isn’t worth going through another potential scam to try and get out of it. Thoroughly vet the company or service you’re going to use to help with the cancellation before you put any money down. Even if the company doesn’t offer escrow payments, you should have a clear idea of what to expect before any money is exchanged.

So, if you’re looking for a helpful company that will get you out of your timeshare company quickly you can go ahead and skip Property Relief Consultants.

National Service Corporation of Virginia Review

National Service Corporation of Virginia is a timeshare exit service located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This corporation has a long shelf-life, having been around since 1967 but went under new ownership in 1987 and has become one of the premier timeshare exit services. They pride themselves on creating long-standing relationships with clients, but does their alleged devotion to their client-base stand true?

National Service Corporation of Virginia Website Review

The website has obviously been updated in recent years, providing a more modern design than the time they’ve been in business. We see a very familiar setup to a lot of other timeshare exit websites we’ve seen with the vacation-themed stock photo and the promise that they will help you break free of your timeshare. They claim because they have a keen sense of the industry they can help you get free of the burden of your timeshare contract with ease.

There are more stock photography photos as you scroll further that are paired with vague explanations about their mission, strategy, and that they put their customers first. This really seems like the same setup of most other timeshare websites just with different stock photos and National Service Corporation of Virginia’s logo in the top left corner. So far their strategy doesn’t set them apart from a dozen other companies who promise the same things.

One of the defining features of this service is that they are a transfer service rather than a cancellation or reseller. They apparently provide an immediate exit solution so you can be severed from your resort quickly and easily without too much hassle. Though we aren’t entirely sure that they deliver on this promise.

If you look at the section titled ‘Our Story’, you’re not going to get much in the way of a credible backstory for the company. They don’t provide much information besides stating they have been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since 2001 and that their founder’s bad experience with timeshare exit companies is what fuels them to be better. Their four-step process that they claim has been tried and tested also feels like it is a repeat of most other timeshare exit companies we see.

They offer a generic free consultation, reviewing your account for qualification, resolution, and then transfer. They then offer a page that gives you the general averages of how much it costs to keep a timeshare and how they can help you get things in order to be able to transfer it. Their FAQ section doesn’t even seem to offer much in the way of helpful information besides what they can try to do to help you and if they have hidden fees.

They claim that their cancellation fee is a one time price and that there are no additional fees, but they follow this up by saying every situation is different and may require additional fees. This is a bit of a shady move from the National Service Corporation of Virginia, claiming there is only one fee up front and no additional fees and then stating there may be additional fees depending on your situation. We also get no mention of escrow payments which are vital when it comes to ensuring your cancellation is fully processed before your exit company gets a cent.

Overall the website leaves a lot to be desired and has contradictory information that isn’t very helpful to those who are seeking an easy exit from their timeshare. Having the company you’re trusting to take on a legal and financial responsibility for you using contradictory language is a huge red flag and you should be careful and research more before you decide to proceed.

National Service Corporation of Virginia Reviews

Their Better Business Bureau page provides more information than their website does, giving the potential client a clearer picture of what to expect when it comes to their services. They have a 5 out of 5 rating from the BBB and an A+, but there is a bit of confusion between the website and their BBB profile about how much they’ve been in business. We know the business has officially been around since 1967 but apparently they haven’t been accredited since 2001.

We aren’t given much information about how their business has changed in those 50+ years they’ve been operational either. They also only have two reviews available, both five stars, but they have a startling nine complaints they’ve had filed and closed in the last 3 years and one that was closed in the last year. Even though they’ve technically been in business a long time, that is a lot of complaints for a company who claims to be reliable and trustworthy.

The two positive reviews seem to be pretty generic, claiming that they would recommend this service to all of their friends due to the professionalism and care that their case was handled with. The complaints, though you would hope would be wordier in their content, but you won’t be able to read them. Either they have been closed for long enough that they can’t be seen anymore or they’ve been removed completely, you can’t view the complaints at all.

We think that while this may be what the business wanted, these complaints should be made available to the public so they know what others had to complain about. If you’re going to put your money towards a service you should know where that service was likely lacking ten whole times with other clients. Any further information on their Better Business Bureau page won’t give you much to go on and you’ll have to infer the rest.

If you’re wanting to look for any additional reviews, you’ll find three available on Yelp that are all one-star. These reviews claim they are scam artists that will take your information and then never call you back and then they will send your account to collections for unpaid fees. This is a startling thing to have happen, especially if you’ve only consulted with this company rather than establishing an actual account with them.

With very few actual testimonials and no way to view the complaints, you might want to try and dig a little bit more to see if you can get any further information but you probably won’t find much. This doesn’t directly lead towards a scam, but it definitely is a red flag you shouldn’t ignore.

National Service Corporation of Virginia Cost

There is a small place in their FAQ section that mentions a little bit about costs, but it is worded in a tricky way and won’t give you much to go on if you’re looking for a realistic idea of what to expect. They claim that you only have to pay a single cancellation fee and that there will be no other surprise or hidden fees. This is incredibly misleading as just a little further in the section they say that each case is different and there may be additional fees depending on your resort and what you need to file.

You shouldn’t be given a vague answer as to what to expect as far as costs go. Especially when a company claims there will be no hidden fees but then says there might be additional fees. You should have everything solidified either upfront or in your consultation call so there are no surprises. If you’re worried that your timeshare exit company will only charge fees to your credit card without authorization, make sure you vet them carefully before hiring.

Giving them all of your information, including your contact information, can be tricky and get you into more trouble than it is worth to get out of your timeshare. There are a lot of scams masquerading as actual companies and you should be careful before you hire one of them to handle your affairs.

Summary

While National Service Corporation of Virginia is a longstanding company with 50+ years of experience, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they have the capability to handle business well. They have been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since 2001 and in that time they haven’t accumulated much in the way of testimonials. They have two positive reviews on their Better Business Bureau profile and then those three startling reviews on Yelp.

To have actual customers claim that they are a scam is one of the truest ways to prove that they likely are one and you should heed the advice of these customers and refrain from giving them your information. While there are companies who have these claims against them and are innocent, it isn’t worth having a non-existent account sent to collections for fees that you never incurred. The timeshare exit business can be sketchy at times and you really should be careful who you decide to give your information to.

Don’t let yourself be taken in by a company that claims to be trustworthy when they really aren’t. Longstanding or not, it seems to us that the National Service Corporation of Virginia is one to avoid.

No Attorney Timeshare Review

No Attorney Timeshare is a Henderson, Nevada-based timeshare exit service that has been in business since 2018. Their interesting approach to the timeshare cancellation market is a do-it-yourself style kit that has allegedly been crafted by legal experts so you can get yourself out of your timeshare with no need for an attorney. But can a DIY timeshare cancellation kit really do the job that an attorney or an accomplished timeshare exit service can?

No Attorney Timeshare Website

The setup of this website is immediately different from the typical timeshare exit companies we review. It has more of the appearance of an e-commerce website than a law firm or timeshare exit service as they provide a pre-packaged product rather than consultations or legal advice. They claim that their product is supposed to remove the hassle of hiring a timeshare exit team or an attorney that may draw out the process or take extra fees.

They claim empowerment for their timeshare owner is their mission so you don’t feel reliant on companies or firms to help you handle your cancellation. There are multiple templates included in the DIY kit so you can either cancel your financial liability loan, cancel international contracts, or cancel multiple contracts. This all in one kit is intended to be the answer to those who don’t want the hassle of dealing with other people.

The further you scroll you’ll see the original price of the kit was $599 but has recently been sliced to $477.20 due to a recent sale. The kit includes items like pre-written templates for cancellation letters, stop payment letters, credit repair letters, and a service refund contract letter so you can get your money back in full. It also includes free support throughout the entire process so you can consult with one of their representatives with questions, document review, or specific document creations should you need it.

This seems like a hefty promise for something that costs less than $500 even though it was developed by a team of attorneys so that the everyman can understand it but have the legal aid they need to get their cancellation done properly. In their FAQ section you’ll find that all of the documentation has been reviewed and created by attorneys so you allegedly have everything you need to just fill-in and sign before you mail them off to your resort. If everything is truly available in this box it makes it seem like there is no need to ever consult an attorney or timeshare exit company again, which makes us skeptical.

They claim they have been mentioned or recommended by ABC News, CNBC, Daily Mail, New York Post, and more. They also claim their collective team has over twenty-five years of experience in the timeshare exit industry. You’ll find some examples of the actual legal documents you should expect in the kit, so you can have an idea of what will be included.

They claim over 10,000 timeshares have been cancelled in over five countries and they have satisfied customers through all of those cancellations. If you peruse their website a bit further you’ll find sections pertaining to how to get started with the kit and why you should choose them. They have a familiar story about being a couple who purchased a timeshare and that from their experience with timeshare exit companies they figured there must be a better option. They developed the kit to make the whole process easier and more affordable for individuals who don’t want to be hassled by attorneys or timeshare exit representatives.

They have a full section of reviews and testimonials, including video reviews praising their product and they claim to have the endorsement and attention of multiple news and finance outlets. Though putting the logos of these news outlets seems to be a bit of a stretch, we aren’t entirely sure if they were just mentioned as an interesting product to look into. There are no confirmations of their credibility available on their website, and being essentially an attorney in a box doesn’t really make us feel very confident in the ability of the product to do what it says it will.

They have a section of frequently asked questions you can peruse but they are also relatively generic and sort of assert that the DIY is entirely infallible. Someone asked what to do if their documents are rejected by the timeshare resort, and they were told there are documents to overcome that. What happens when that documentation is rejected as well? We aren’t given concrete ideas of what to do should the box fail.

The website is also kitschy and organized to look like a store selling a cheap product rather than a real legal solution to your timeshare troubles. Because you pay upfront for the box, there is no need for escrow payments, but it also reduces the risk of any additional payments being taken out from your card. We don’t fully trust this service but let’s see what former clients think.

No Attorney Timeshare Reviews

There are no reviews available on their Better Business Bureau page and because they provide a product rather than a service they are not accredited. There are two complaints that were recently open against them though, so we assume that despite all the cheerful reviews up on their website there is likely something they left out. The complaints seem to be based around the product not living up to the expectations advertised.

This DIY timeshare exit kit seems to be lacking in some of the most vital aspects, which is the attorney to help assemble and send off the documentation. While they claim anyone will be able to navigate their product without needing additional help, it seems these dissatisfied clients were not able to do so and thought the documents provided were unhelpful. No Attorney Timeshare seems to dispute these claims that the product isn’t useful but they don’t provide much evidence to the contrary.

While it may seem like this is a perfectly good and inexpensive solution to your timeshare exit troubles, it may only end in confusion and your timeshare contract still intact. While they claim to take questions and inquiries, you have to expect that a service that costs under $500 is not going to be an adequate replacement for proper professional or legal advice. Of course not every attorney or timeshare exit company is trustworthy either, but there are certainly ones out there that can provide more to help you than something from a box.

No Attorney Timeshare Cost

This is the only thing that is relatively upfront and easy to understand. Because you’re not working with a service there is no need to set up payment plans or have to deal with changing costs or hidden fees. You pay an upfront price of $477.20 or $599 if you end up getting it after the sale is over and there are no additional fees that will be processed after it is safely at your doorstep.

You’d think this takes the hassle and worry out of the timeshare exit process as you won’t have to be concerned your money will continue to pile up or be taken despite lack of action. This doesn’t live up to the expectation though according to several dissatisfied clients and you have to do most of the work. It is essentially the laziest and cheapest attorney in a box that you feed $500 for less than stellar results.

Summary

It isn’t entirely unexpected to assume that a DIY timeshare exit kit won’t do the same job as a qualified and professional attorney or service. While it does help to be able to cut down on costs and learn how to handle things on your own, your resort isn’t going to be incredibly likely to help you out of your contract with some generic paperwork a company threw together. Timeshare scams are tricky enough to navigate alone and without having someone to help navigate your case, it isn’t likely they will let you free with just some documents you paid a fee for.

The idea is nice of course, considering during the pandemic it was hard to meet with attorneys and such to get these things done but you might be better off with a remote attorney or service rather than a DIY kit. We should probably save the do-it-yourself projects for things like baked goods, crafts, and hobbies, instead of legal aid to get you out of a pricey commitment.

What we are saying  is that while it may not outrightly be a scam, you shouldn’t waste your money on something that isn’t guaranteed to work. You might essentially spend money to ultimately lose money as you pivot to an actual attorney to help get out of your timeshare. If it doesn’t work, you’re out $500 and there are no money-back guarantees mentioned on the website. Not to mention their ‘How It Works’ asserts that unless you have a valid reason your timeshare won’t be cancelled.

All in all it’s probably best to avoid this product and put your time, money, and energy elsewhere.

The Abrams Firm Review

The Abrams firm is a timeshare law firm based in Olympia-Lacey, Washington that has been in business since 2001. They are an accredited law firm managed and run by Mr. John Abrams who claims that his firm has been the recognized leader in consumer protection since the early 2000s. Though they allege their mission is to always get timeshare owners the rapid solutions they need due to the predatory timeshare industry.

The Abrams Firm Website

There seems to be a reason why their web URL is theTimeshareLawFirm.com as they appear to be the end all be all of the firms to represent timeshare exiters. Something we really like is they lay out what you should expect from them immediately on the landing page. They used to be entirely pro-bono but now their consultations are entirely pro-bono and their flat fees start at $1000, but they assert they won’t take any fees upfront.

They cancel or terminate your timeshare within about a month and a half and the costs for these services never go above $4000 which is the maximum they will charge to help you. If you’re someone who is having an issue with a popular resort and there are others like you who are having similar problems, they recommend class-action filing so you and others like you can be free of timeshare scams without any extra costs. We like how much information is present on their landing page, offering up as much knowledge, news, and up-to-date information they can to potential clients.

Their ‘About Us’ section is even more impressive as it is separated into multiple sections. They have their general about them statement which lists their mission and why this business is so important to them, but then they have more in-depth sections about who is on staff with them. This includes two attorney profiles, their history in consumer protection, and then some information about their consumer protection lawyers.

Their credibility is immediately established by the profiles of two of their attorneys on staff, including Mr. John Abrams himself and his Partner Kathryn Bosse. Their credentials are laid out in detail from their Licensure to their Education and where they’ve practiced or mentored. This is comforting for those seeking timeshare exits as they know their contracts are in qualified hands.

They claim to put people first and have spent their time protecting timeshare owners and defending them against those resorts that would seek to take advantage of them. They allegedly go to great lengths to accomplish their goals as well. They also make a point to assure potential customers that they aren’t a scam company and you won’t get unwanted calls or flimsy promises when you take a pro-bono consultation with them.

They assert that their customers are thoroughly informed of their rights and the courses of action the firm is going to take on their behalf and only when they have the consent of the client do they charge their flat-rate service fee. This price is agreed upon before any service is given and the client knows what to expect up front without any hidden fees or lack of communication. You speak directly to the attorneys handling your case instead of salespeople or caseworkers who don’t know your case personally and they ensure you know what’s happening every step of the way.

They have a huge knowledge base section that provides in-depth information about nearly every timeshare and timeshare exit question you might have burning in your mind. They have answers to anything from your cancellation timeline depending on your state to spotting timeshare scams. If you have any further questions you can check out their blog for deeper explanations and further research.

If you have no further questions and have fully perused their experience and credentials, you can check out their contact sheet. This will help you get in contact with them and you can detail the information about your resort and why you’re contacting them so they know going into your call.

While we can’t say they are the perfect option to go with to help exit from your timeshare, they are one of the most upfront firms we’ve seen. They lay out what to expect as far as fees go and while they don’t offer an escrow payment option, they do ensure you know your fee is only processed once they’re sure they can take on your case and get you free of your contract. This firm appears to be one of the better options you can find out there.

The Abrams Firm Reviews

Unlike other timeshare exit solutions, the Abrams Firm doesn’t try to sell you on their services by adding a testimonials section to their website. Oftentimes those sections are filled with five-star reviews that you aren’t quite sure if they are true or if the company wrote them themselves. It is a bit hard to find testimonials from those who have used Abrams Firm, however.

They have two customer reviews on their Better Business Bureau page that are 5-star, but they also have two Google reviews that are 1-star. This is where their seemingly perfect facade does seem to be a little faulty. The two 5-star reviews are unsurprising, they carry some details about the firm being easy to work with and that they were given the results they had hoped for while working with them.

These individuals had been scammed before and were refreshed by the professionalism they found at Abrams Firm. The one-star reviews aren’t too concerning, but they do offer a different perspective than we’ve seen so far. One of them claims that their money was taken and they weren’t communicated with afterwards, and another says that they advise you to do more research and they believe there may be unprofessionalism and criminal activity.

While we have nothing to back up these claims and things have so far appeared to be normal with this company, we do always advise you to do more thorough research before you employ a firm or company to help you exit your timeshare. It is important that you trust the company you are going to put money towards and that you have a grasp on their credibility and ability to help you with your contract.

The Abrams Firm Cost

We like how upfront and honest the Abrams Firm seems to be about how much you should expect to spend. They used to offer pro-bono aid but since going National they have had to keep up with more fees. They do ensure that their clients know what they are getting into before they get into it though, which is something we can appreciate.

They assert that there are no upfront fees and that clients should expect to pay a $1000 flat fee at a minimum but they will never charge more than $4000 for any case. They claim there are no hidden fees and that payments are only taken once it is certain they will be able to help you with your contract. You should feel reassured after dealing with a timeshare scam that an honest and upfront company will help you out of your troubles.

As far as exit companies and firms go, Abrams is one of the few we’ve seen be this upfront about their costs. You shouldn’t be surprised by any hidden fees or exorbitant costs that you weren’t expecting. In that vein, $1000 to $4000 seems to be a reasonable expenditure for release from a pricey contract and hefty recurring maintenance fees.

Summary

While they may not be the absolutely perfect solution for everyone, The Abrams Firm offers highly credible and helpful options for those seeking a swift and inexpensive exit from their timeshare. Their attorneys appear to be dedicated to providing help to those who have been swindled and scammed by untrustworthy timeshare companies. The information they offer in droves on their website sincerely seems like they would help most uncertain timeshare exiters with burning questions they might be having but don’t want to wait until the consultation to have answered.

They also provide a thorough description of their attorneys’ credentials so you know exactly who is helping you and where they got their experience. While there are some uncertainties as far as whether their credible appearance is reality, they don’t have an abundance of testimonials trying to over-assert their credibility either. The small number of reviews split down the middle in good and bad, seems almost more trustworthy than dozens of 5-star reviews from sources you aren’t sure are actually real.

While they don’t offer anything in the way of escrow payments, you can be assured you won’t have your card charged any extra or hidden fees. The Abrams Firm appears to be upfront about their costs and won’t try to lead you astray for a few extra bucks to line their pockets. Of course, every solution has flaws, but they do seem to be one of the best when it comes to being honest upfront about what to expect.

We’d recommend this firm, but think you should do as much research as possible first so you know your decision is well-informed.

National Cancellation & Transfer Review

National Cancellation & Transfer is a Springfield, Missouri-based timeshare cancellation company that has technically been operational since 2001. Though they’ve allegedly been in business for twenty years helping get individuals out of their timeshare contracts, they have only been accredited since 2015. In those 5 years they claim to have become experts on timeshare exit solutions, but do those claims hold up to what they actually offer?

National Cancellation & Transfer Website Review

The initial thought we get from their website is that it looks a bit like one of those cheesy attorney ads that you’d find on the side of a bus or on a billboard. It has the stock photography, the kitschy logo, flashing images, and bright colors you’d expect from a cheap attorney or exit solution. This doesn’t give us an immediate feeling of credibility, but there are things we can look over to see if they at least offer any helpful information.

Their landing page however, is disappointing in this aspect. They don’t offer much information about how they’ll help you out of your timeshare but instead offer some fluff about evaluating your options and getting the help you need with confidence. The only thing they offer of substance on the landing page is that a phone consultation is free, they have affordable exit options, and you put no money down and can get 100% financing if your credit qualifies you.

They do have a section of testimonials available on the landing page, but these even seem like they are lacking. One of the pictures seems like an actual family while the other two look a bit like stock photography. They do offer some articles below that section so you can peruse and possibly get answers to questions that you have before you have to go through a full consultation with a representative.

They then try to offer their free ebook which is supposedly packed with answers about timeshares and how to be free of yours forever. Offering an ebook does feel a bit tacky to try and shove in a potential client’s face as the option they should take to get further information. Your clients shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get the information they need before they pursue you as their timeshare exit solution.

Under their ‘About’ section, you’ll find a small section about the company itself, including their Principal Operator Wade Phillips. He claims that he was a timeshare owner once upon a time and that his experience is what led him to help others like him be free of their pesky contracts. They claim their credibility comes from their over five years in business and the experiences they’ve had with their clients in that time.

They also claim to offer multiple solutions so you can find the most affordable and easiest one for your individual needs. Of these options you’ll find you can exercise your rescission rights if you’re early enough in the timeshare process, can sell your timeshare, consider one of their DIY options so they can guide you through because it is more affordable, or they can help you with a full-service solution and offer you their 100% money-back guarantee as well as financing.

Their ‘How We Do It’ section leaves much to be desired as it pretty much restates everything you can find on their landing page. There isn’t much substance and they don’t offer any detailed explanation about how they help you through your exit process. Fees are also conveniently left out of any of the information provided, which is frustrating for potential clients.

You should know what to expect as far as upfront fees or payment options go. They don’t provide escrow options either, which is one of the most secure ways to pay for your services while ensuring your contract is completed. If you want to know more about escrow payments and how they can benefit you, check out our blog.

Their FAQ section doesn’t offer much in the manner of substance either. They even dodge the question about how much it will cost to have them relieve you of your timeshare and keep playing up that money-back guarantee line. This is endlessly frustrating for those clients who are seeking assurance after already being scammed out of money by their timeshare.

The rest of their website is their blog/articles section where you can peruse to find answers to your questions, as well as their full money-back guarantee statement and another link to their ebook. All in all the website is largely unimpressive and though they have some helpful resources there aren’t enough to get us excited about this service as your timeshare solution.

National Cancellation & Transfer Reviews

They do offer a testimonials page on their website, but once again this seems to be filled with the same old collection of positive reviews that the business possibly had made for them. The only review that seems to be legitimate has a picture attached to it of a happy family that seems satisfied with National Cancellation & Transfer’s help. If you want to find more reviews that will be more honest, you’ll likely have to head to their Better Business Bureau profile.

This is where things get interesting as we can find 2 normal reviews and a startling 7 complaints filed against this business on their BBB page. The two reviews are both five-star, claiming that the company did exactly what they said they would do and they have no complaints. This in addition to the testimonials provided on their website you might be inclined to believe they are an all right company, but you’d likely be wrong.

Five of the seven complaints have been closed, whereas two still remain open and unresolved. The first one claims they handed off the money so they could get in contact with an attorney the service knew, but that they weren’t called back about any details. This one seems like it was resolved easily enough and the company claims that they handed the number off and the client has allegedly been in contact with the attorney ever since.

The second claims they handed off $3200 for a contract termination but that for 18 months nothing was handled by the company in question. The company claims that they have been taking the right course of action and a refund should not be administered. Most of the rest of the claims seem to be in similar taste, claiming they paid anything from $1600 to $3000+ to this company with no results and a severe lack of communication.

When companies take on clients and take upfront fees like this and then ghost on communication, it is one of our biggest red flags that they might be a scam. Your timeshare exit company should be communicative and willing to work within the parameters you have set aside but when they take the money and fail to do so, that is a bad sign. If you want to know what more red flags for scams look like, check out our blog.

National Cancellation & Transfer Cost

We aren’t given any indication on their website how much the services of National Cancellation & Transfer cost, but if you look at the complaints on their BBB profile you can get some clues. Between $1600 and $3200 seems to be the general range to expect for the cost of their services, though it could also be higher depending on those we haven’t gotten testimonials from. You should always know what to expect as far as costs upfront and that’s typically what a lot of companies will save for their initial consultation.

If you get a price range you’re not comfortable with while on the phone with the company, you should make a note of it and then keep hunting for another. There’s no reason you can’t shop around for a better timeshare exit company, especially when you’ll be dropping well over a grand on getting released from your contract. You shouldn’t have to compromise in that aspect and it won’t be too hard to find a company you can trust more with your money.

Summary

If it walks like a scam, talks like a scam, and acts like a scam, likely it’s a scam. The cheesy way that the company presents itself on their website is bad enough, but to have 7 complaints filed against them in their supposed 5 years running isn’t something to be proud of. While we won’t go as far as to say definitively that the company is a scam, it has a lot of the red flags that would typically lead you to that conclusion.

It is important to thoroughly vet the companies you consider for your timeshare exit journey as they will be holding on to a lot of your money and personal information. If you can, try to find a company that offers escrow and has a website that provides more thorough information and a credible background on those running it.

National Cancellation & Transfer doesn’t include those options and you’re probably better off finding something else to suit your needs.

Timeshare Cancel Services Review

Timeshare Cancel Services is an Orlando, Florida-based timeshare exit company that has been in business since 2009. They claim they established their business due to the demand for timeshare exit companies as the popularity of timeshares grew in that year by over one billion. While they make claims they have extensive knowledge and expertise, as well as plenty of law prowess to back them up, do their services actually live up to these claims?

Timeshare Cancel Services Website Review

If you’re looking for a good initial impression, Timeshare Cancel Services does a good job of establishing that. They have a very clean and concise website design that provides a feeling that they are backed up by lawyers rather than inexperienced representatives. This could also be done purposefully to establish credibility where there might not be any, but we can dive a bit further to see if their information lives up to the appearance.

Their landing page lays out more than we typically see from timeshare exit companies about what they do, how they do it and their results. They specialize in timeshare cancellation, mortgage cancellation, money recovery, and credit protection, so they provide a wide range of services in the timeshare exit business. Each of these sections also has a link attached to learn more about how their services work and it will lead you to their ‘Services’ tab so you can read further.

Their ‘About Us’ section on their landing page is a little pithy and lacking information. They talk more about what you should do to find a trustworthy timeshare exit company rather than why they are that credible resource you’ve been looking for. They also offer a free evaluation calculator that they embed a link to on the landing page above their results.

They claim they have provided over one million dollars in recovered funds to their clients as well as over three hundred thousand in recovered maintenance fees the year before. They do provide some information as to what resorts they’ve released their client’s contracts from, such as Wyndham, Marriott, Hilton Grand, and more. Their alleged total of the canceled debt to this day is 275 billion since they started their business in 2009.

If you do head over to their ‘Services’ page, you’ll find under their proven credentials that only 60% of their clients receive refunds but they have 99% success when it comes to canceling contracts. The rest of this page doesn’t provide much more than what you’ll see on the landing page already. There is a bit more fluff related to what they do for credit protection, cancellation, and refunds.

The only additions to the ‘About Us’ page show that in the first year of business they won 1,000 cases, and by 2011 they had gotten over a million in refunds for their clients. They list their accomplishments from 2012 to 2021, celebrating their success and how much they’ve given back to their clients but the details aren’t very thorough here either.

Their ‘Contract Releases’ page will give you some uploaded copies of contracts they’ve released people from, stating how much they’ve gotten refunded per resort. They also have a wall of icons you can click to see the releases from this list of resorts. The only additional information provided is how to pick out a trustworthy timeshare exit company, which includes advice like checking the BBB history of the company you’re considering.

This is odd advice as to when you search Timeshare Cancel Services, you won’t be able to find their Better Business Bureau page right away. You’ll have to search around a little bit until you find a group called Integrity Marketing Solutions, LLC. They are also known as Timeshare Answers and they have a 4.74 out of 5 ratings but are not considered accredited by the BBB. It seems odd they would advise you to check a company’s BBB profile before you consider hiring them when there’s is not even accredited.

The only other aspects of their website that should be looked at are their testimonials, the timeshare calculator, and their FAQ page. Their testimonial section is interesting as it mostly contains video reviews, which is something we have mixed feelings about. While it does feel like videos of real people may make these testimonies seem more credible, we also know how easy it is to have review videos faked.

Their timeshare calculator is thorough and helpful, so we do recommend taking advantage of that if you’re curious how much your timeshare actually costs. While there are a few answers of note in their FAQ section, we paid the most attention to if they charge an upfront fee. They claim their consultation is free and money is only exchanged when their services are rendered, but even this answer is vague.

There is nothing regarding escrow payments, which we highly recommend in order to keep your payments secure. If you want to know how important escrow payments are, take a look at our blog. All in all the website is good but we aren’t sure how much it represents the company at hand.

Timeshare Cancel Services Reviews

Once you find the Integrity Marketing Solutions LLC page on the BBB website, you’ll be able to see they have 37 customer reviews and 4 customer complaints that have been closed. They have two one-star reviews and then two four-star reviews, but the other 33 are five-star. The two one-star reviews have a similar commentary about Timeshare Cancel Services being uncommunicative about the progress of their cancellation.

This is also the first time we are given an idea of costs as well so keep that in mind. The four-star reviews don’t give us much reason why they aren’t 5 stars as you can’t really tell them apart as far as content goes. The complaints that are filed against the company also seem to be pretty similar in nature.

Most of them are mentioning money being taken upfront and then communication dropping off without any solution being reached. Another complaint is that the customers in question feel like they had to do so much of the work and the fees that were taken were too much for how much work the company itself had put in to help release them from their contract. That, mixed with the lack of communication really sounds similar to some timeshare scams that we warn against.

If you want to know what to look for in a timeshare and what you should avoid, check out our blog on our favorite timeshares and how to spot a scam.

Timeshare Cancel Services Cost

We are only given an indication of cost in the complaints section of their BBB page, which is already a red flag. Most of the complaints mention a fee of $2800+ but we have also seen up to $4000. One of the things we recommend to individuals seeking help exiting their timeshare is to avoid upfront fees if you can.

A free consultation is nice, but if a company says that they take an upfront fee before any work is done you should do a bit more research on their credibility. This is why the claim that no money is exchanged until services are rendered is a tricky way to word things on their website. This absolutely means they take an upfront fee and that you will have to contact them if you want to know how much you should expect to spend.

We also don’t like when they expect you to contact them without providing adequate information on their website. You’re essentially going into your consultation blind and if you don’t want to use their services, they now have your contact information and can call or email you whenever they please. This is how a lot of timeshare scams get a hold of people and don’t let go even when you have said you don’t want to use their services.

Summary

Overall, this company has a very well-put-together website that does provide resources in the form of their timeshare cost calculator, but it is still lacking. Most of the information you’ll find on their website is a little bit of helpful advice mixed with filler. They also don’t provide anything to boost their credibilities, such as an attorney or legal aid.

We also don’t like that you have to jump through hoops to find their Better Business Bureau profile because it is under the LLC’s name rather than the name of the exit company. While they do have over 33 positive reviews for their services, we are alarmed by the complaints as they are all fairly similar. The four complaints on their profile all talk about upfront money being taken and then communication dropping off entirely.

You want the company you trust to release you from your timeshare contract to be communicative and willing to work with you and your needs. Upfront fees and then no adequate communication is not the way to run a business, especially one like this. So while we don’t dislike Timeshare Cancel Services, we do find their practices questionable and we recommend more research if you think they’re the company for you.
