Client Protection Group Review

Client Protection Group is another timeshare exit company founded in 2013 that may be able to help you exit your timeshare. They are located in Costa Mesa, California, and owned by Michael Cromie, Jr. They also have a second office in Deland, Florida.

Client Protection Group Website

One of the first things we noticed upon exploring Client Protection Group’s website was their use of the tagline Timeshare Elimination Team as a sort of secondary business name or qualifier. While looking into this, we came upon a now-defunct LLC and website under the same name and with the same owner, also based in Costa Mesa, CA.

While this is not to be confused with the similarly-named timeshare exit company TS Elimination, LLC, based in Las Vegas, NV, it is interesting that there are other websites that indicate Client Protection Group has some basis in the Las Vegas area.

Cromie was at one point employed by a company called Litigation Services in Las Vegas, which is interesting, but again, not necessarily indicative of anything illegitimate at face value. Aside from that, we were not able to find a great deal of background information about the owner or directors, and thus could not make a connection between the Client Protection Group and TS Elimination, LLC. It is possible that Client Protection Group was a name chosen to better differentiate the company from TS Elimination, LLC, which is often referred to as TS Elimination Team.

With all of that said, while there aren’t any solid conclusions we could draw from finding this potentially related information, TS Elimination, LLC, has several negative reviews from past clients regarding activity that appears to be fraudulent.

Please be aware of this distinction if you choose to look into Client Protection Group for help with exiting your timeshare, and be sure you aren’t looking into working with TS Elimination by mistake.

Our impression of the website is that, overall, it is mostly clear and navigable. That said, there are a few pages that are clunkier than others and a few noticeable textual and spelling issues. It also does not include a great deal of specific information about the processes Client Protection Group uses to help clients exit their timeshares, aside from saying that they are “transparent” and “legal.” Typically, it is something of a red flag if a company has to outright say this but does not give a transparent picture of what it is they do that is legal.

Regarding the About page, as noted, the website does not have much information about the owners or staff, and there is not any indication of their having a background in law, or having lawyers on the Client Protection Group staff.

On the Services page, there is slightly more information about what Client Protection Group can offer you. But again, it does not present a very detailed picture of how their process works. The areas they say they address overall are Timeshare Elimination, Mortgage Cancellation, Credit Protection, and Fraud Recovery. There is a bit of misleading information here, as they state outright that it is “impossible” to sell a timeshare, which is not exactly true, though it is extremely difficult to do so. Disney timeshares and many timeshares on Hawaii and Aruba do tend to hold their value quite well. As such, though, there seems to be an understanding of the overall challenges a client would face in trying to cancel a timeshare, including issues with protecting their credit and being weighed down with mortgage payments.

Under Fraud Recovery, Client Protection Group does address the typical practices of shady timeshare exit companies that approach people claiming they can sell their timeshare for them, which is something of a reassuring point. However, they also claim to have been licensed with the Secretary of State as a “Consumer Advocate Timeshare Relief Service,” which is not something we could verify.

Client Protection Group Reviews

Client Protection Group has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and several positive reviews from past clients. While we didn’t find any Google reviews for Client Protection Group, they do have one five-star review on Yelp. The reviews appear to be legitimate and their consensus seems to be that, while they may take a while with their process, Client Protection Group ultimately tends to enact timeshare exits successfully and completely.

Client Protection Group Cost

Client Protection Group does not provide cost information on their website. They do say they offer free consultations to potential clients. Client Protection Group also claims to offer a money-back guarantee, which is not something we approve of, because it typically goes hand-in-hand with upfront payments.

On the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, you can find that this holds true, and that Client Protection Group does require an upfront retainer payment. It does not go into detail about whether or not this means they use escrow for this payment, but we would not say it’s likely. Should you choose to get in touch with this company, we would recommend asking if that is part of the initial payment.

Overall, though, we do not suggest getting involved with a timeshare exit company who does not use escrow payments or a no up-front fee payment option. Even with a money-back guarantee, it is easy for them to take your payment and never fully cancel your timeshare and never refund your money. You can learn more here about what escrow is, and why it is important to work with a company that uses it.

What to Look for in a Timeshare Exit Company

There are several qualities that indicate a company is one you want to get involved with for cancelling your timeshare. A low up-front fee escrow payment option is just one of them. Companies that either work with attorneys or have industry connections are typically going to be more efficient at working with the timeshare or resort itself and will get you more for what you ultimately pay. If you owe a mortgage, this might not be an option for you, but you can still look for a timeshare exit company that consults with lawyers and uses a reputable payment method. You can find out more about the costs you can expect for the different methods of exiting a timeshare here.

Summary

Client Protection Group is a timeshare exit company with which you should tread carefully. While Client Protection Group appears to have solid reviews, we are not inclined to use this as a basis for a recommendation, given what little information we could find on their website about either their timeshare cancellation processes or the foundation of the company itself.

This is not only because of the lack of clarity surrounding the company’s process for cancelling your timeshare, but also because of their request for upfront payments. Upfront payments, while common, are not a timeshare exit company practice that we like to see, and you have options aside from any company that requires them. That is why we prefer to recommend companies that use escrow for payments. You can explore the companies that we strongly recommend on this page, and look into which would be the best fit for your location and situation.

Owners Financial Services Review

Owners Financial Services is a consulting firm that specializes in asset management, and may be able to help you exit a timeshare. They have two locations; the main headquarters are in Norfolk, Virginia, and another satellite office is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The firm offers multiple services and areas of practice and was founded by Michael H. Michaud, Esq., an attorney located in Duluth, Georgia, in 2015. While it has been in operation for six years, Michaud has been licensed for 22 years, and he actively practices, among other areas, business, real estate, and property law.

Owners Financial Services Website

The website for Owners Financial Services is clear and easy to navigate, and looks quite professional both in terms of design and content. Regarding the content, there is a great deal of rich information about asset management in general, as well as what to do in different situations of dealing with what the firm calls “toxic assets.” This includes not only timeshares but also second homes, underwater mortgages, and other forms of corporate and personal real estate. In spite of a few dense paragraphs on the Services page, it is mostly easy to read and digest, particularly if you are focused on a very specific problem with a toxic asset.

A “toxic asset,” in the terms Owners Financial Services outlines on their Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, is any asset whose cost of keeping it majorly outweighs the benefits its owner or manager receives. A few key patterns to look out for include required interest payments that do not help build equity, or being unable to mitigate rising management or maintenance costs. Timeshares tend to fall into this category, and as such can be considered a toxic asset that you may be able to get help cancelling through this or another company.

We found that both the Services page and the FAQ page presented most of the information a potential client would need to make a decision about working with this consulting firm. True to their being consultants, Owners Financial Services uses these pages to delve into the details of specific situations and analyze what your options might be.

Most promisingly, Owners Financial Services starts off their FAQ with insights on how to spot predatory sales tactics when it comes to assets and properties. These tactics are important to be aware of, as they are typically what lead to people investing in timeshares and vacation properties when they are not truly qualified or do not have the resources to manage them.

Where Exiting Your Timeshare Comes Into the Picture

Beyond the issue of sales tactics, Owners Financial Services’ FAQ outlines a few other important details regarding timeshares and exiting them. Most notably, they state that anyone who solicits you to help you sell your timeshare does not have your best interest in mind, as it’s likely that they cannot actually do so. While it is not impossible to sell a timeshare, it is not wise to do so through a party who approaches you first. Not to mention, such companies or parties typically ask for upfront fees, which almost guarantees that they are not truly looking to help you sell. We have pointed this out on our website in several places as well, and it is refreshing to see a consulting firm privy to this truth and willing to provide that information to clients on an initial basis.

Other situations that they address on their Services page include the following:

  • Regular payments and maintenance fees for businesses and timeshares
  • HOA fees connected with a second home or fractional real estate
  • The effects of timeshares or fractional ownership on credit

The points about credit that the firm makes here are particularly interesting. We found on their Services page that Owners Financial Services is interested in debunking myths about credit, and helping you figure out how your timeshare investment has affected your credit score. What they present is a contrast between credit score and personal net worth. If a timeshare or similar property does not carry any intrinsic value, a high credit score is virtually insignificant, especially in comparison to the lowered personal net worth that comes from overinvesting in such a property. This aligns with what we’ve presented as well regarding how to exit a timeshare without ruining your credit, and most significantly that it is possible to do so. Working with a reputable timeshare company can mean recovering both your net worth and credit, and it is certainly a positive sign that Owners Financial Services, without making any outright promises, emphasizes the importance of both of these values and speaks to their being reparable.

The details on this website are backed up by the kinds of experience listed on the About page for the founder. Michaud is noted to have a background in real estate transactions, corporate governance and litigation. Before becoming a solo practitioner, he also practiced litigation and foreclosure defense as part of a firm he opened with colleague H. Scott Basham, Basham & Michaud, LLP.

Given these areas of expertise, we would be willing to conclude that Owners Financial Services is a firm with a solid foundation for working with people on exiting timeshares, as well as dealing with other difficult situations related to properties and assets.

Owners Financial Services Reviews

Owners Financial Services has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and several solely positive reviews from past clients on that page. We found a handful of Google reviews that gave similar feedback to the firm as well. Most of them are from the past few weeks, which may indicate that they are becoming more active and available to more cases.

Regarding the founding attorney, Michael H. Michaud, Esq., we also found largely positive reviews for his practice, and he has a relatively strong rating on Avvo. He does have one negative review, though it appears to be from a client who actually had a positive experience with Michaud and could not get in touch after the case ended. Since Michaud’s response was professional and reasonable, we would ultimately say this is not a major cause for concern.

Owners Financial Services Cost

We did not find any information about consulting fees on the Owners Financial Services website. However, they do note on their Services page that they do not require upfront fees, which is encouraging and a great place to start if you are seeking to work with a consulting firm. We always encourage people to make sure, when looking into exiting a timeshare, that they work with a company that does not require upfront payments and uses escrow. You can learn more about why escrow is important on this page.

Summary

Overall, Owners Financial Services seems to be a solid and professional consulting firm, and beyond that, a good source of information about not only timeshares, but other properties and assets as well. Because they are so keyed into what predatory practices look like, encourage mediation rather than litigation when it comes to serious or escalating situations, and are considered a nationwide firm, we would recommend exploring them as an option should you find yourself in any of the circumstances that they outline.

Timeshare Cancellation Law Group Review

Timeshare Cancellation Law Group is a legal entity owned and operated by Christopher D. Graham, P.L.L.C., in Scottsdale, Arizona, that may be able to help you with exiting your timeshare. Timeshare Cancellation Law Group appears to be a relatively new venture by the founding attorney; he has been practicing with his solo firm since 2012, in the areas of elder law, probate, and estate planning, as well as—as stated on the Timeshare Cancellation Law Group website—consumer practice, real estate law, contract law, business law, and tax law. However, Timeshare Cancellation Law Group itself, according to the Better Business Bureau, was founded and accredited in January 2021.

Timeshare Cancellation Law Group Website

The website is simple and straightforward. It has a main landing page with several sections, which makes it easy to navigate; there are no hidden or buried pages. The language is akin to what you’d typically expect from most other attorney websites, though there are a few textual formatting and spelling errors which could point to the business owner having quickly or hastily put the website together. Based on how recently this firm was developed, it seems just as possible if not more so that this is indicative of it being a secondary venture.

Regarding the information that the website provides, it is fairly spare, but it does include a promising FAQ that addresses what a client should and should not expect when trying to exit a timeshare. In addition to other information, this section outlines the near-impossibility of selling a timeshare, and cautions clients to be wary of any companies that make promises of being able to do so for them.

Timeshare Cancellation Law Group Reviews

While we didn’t find any reviews for Timeshare Cancellation Law Group, aside from the testimonials listed on the website, Graham’s solo practice has a few off-website ratings from a few years ago that are all positive. Those reviews are from Best Law Office Reviews (an aggregate) and BirdEye; you can review a few samples below.

As a solo practitioner, Christopher D. Graham, P.L.L.C. has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, as well as a strong Avvo rating. Timeshare Cancellation Law Group thus far has an A- rating from the BBB.

Because it was difficult to find a major amount of information about the practicing attorney or the timeshare cancellation firm itself, we ran several searches and found a bit more about Graham’s history prior to practicing solo. As noted, Graham has been a solo practitioner since 2012; prior to that, he was employed by a few different corporate firms in the Phoenix, Arizona area, including Koeller Nebeker Carlson Haluck, LLP, and Wood Smith Henning & Berman, beginning in 2002. It was not difficult to find Arizona court records that highlighted his breadth of experience in the local legal field.

After starting his own firm, Graham focused on several areas, including elder law, probate, and consumer practice. The Timeshare Cancellation Law Group seems to be founded upon this past, as the website emphasizes the firm’s use of consumer law knowledge to assist clients with exiting their timeshares. Generally, there seems to be a preference for avoiding litigation when possible, and starting the process by communicating with the timeshare company on behalf of the client.

Overall, the approach appears to be quite different to that of timeshare exit companies, and there is an emphasis that the promises such companies make cannot always be trusted. Rather, Timeshare Cancellation Law Group notes that they seek the following for clients:

  • Complete contract cancellation
  • Immediate cancellation of payments
  • Maintenance fee cancellation
  • Mortgage balance cancellation
  • Credit protection/correction

The website states that Timeshare Cancellation Law Group uses a credit and risk management approach to achieve these results and, again, backs up these steps with their background knowledge in consumer law. It also states that the firm works alongside a licensed, certified “credit derogatory prevention and restoration firm” in order to assist clients. While further information is not provided about this firm, it is an interesting addition, and we would say helpful to potential clients as well. Most people looking to exit a timeshare are concerned about the long-term effects on their credit, and it is possible to take steps to cancel your timeshare that do not ruin your credit.  You can learn more about getting out of a timeshare without ruining your credit here.

Timeshare Cancellation Law Group Cost

Timeshare Cancellation Law Group’s website does not list any costs, but does indicate that clients can start with a free consultation and are promised a flat fee that aligns with clients’ budgets for any ensuing legal services. There is a 100% satisfaction guarantee—not a money-back guarantee—which, alongside the fixed rate, is at the very least encouraging given their approach. Please remember that we do not tend to recommend companies or firms that rely upon money-back guarantees to retain clients for several reasons. You can review those reasons and learn more about why escrow is a preferable option here.

General Advice on Hiring a Timeshare Cancellation Attorney

As we’ve outlined elsewhere on this site, working with an attorney to exit your timeshare is typically quite effective, but it can run you a higher cost, particularly if you owe a mortgage on the property. In addition, it will most likely be a more collaborative process, so it can require more time and effort on your part.

Because Timeshare Cancellation Law Group is, by definition, a law firm, it is worth considering whether you have the resources and time to go this route to exit your timeshare. While you will in all likelihood end up working with someone who has extensive legal knowledge related to business practices and property ownership, if you have other options at your disposal—such as working with a broker or a transfer company that is actually reputable—it could save you a great deal of time, money, and trouble to explore them.

However, that said, if you have already exhausted other options, working with an attorney might be the most optimal way forward for you. Please be aware that, if an attorney is offering to work with you at a rate that fits your budget or a fixed rate, you should never be expected to pay upfront.

Summary

Overall, Timeshare Cancellation Law Group seems to have potential, and if you are more inclined to pursue exiting a timeshare with legal counsel at the helm, this could be at minimum a place to start gathering information. Because the firm is such a new business, we cannot necessarily make a robust recommendation for Timeshare Cancellation Law Group at this time. Especially with so many other reputable timeshare exit companies with years of experience. See our top recommended timeshare exit companies here.

However, there seems to be a good faith attempt at providing a new service using past experience with consumer law as the foundational basis, so at the very least, the firm looks worth exploring for those who are going down the route of hiring an attorney in the greater Scottsdale, AZ area.

We’d also encourage you to keep in mind the other avenues you can take with companies that have built up years of experience in working with people to exit their timeshares. Everyone’s experience is different, so if you have more questions about how to cancel your timeshare, please be sure to either initiate the live chat, call us at 833-416-8796, or submit a contact form on the right side of the page.

Global Timeshare Attorneys Review

Global Timeshare Attorneys is a corporation based in Costa Mesa, California that has been helping clients exit their timeshares since 2019. They claim to be affordable attorneys that are at your service to release you from unwanted contracts and legal issues with your timeshare. Though they happen to be fronted by a legal team, that doesn’t necessarily guarantee they’ll be better than the other timeshare exit solutions on the market. Do their credentials actually set them above the rest?

Global Timeshare Attorneys Website Review

Our immediate first impression of their website isn’t very promising. Their landing page layout is incredibly outdated and looks more like a website that was created two decades ago rather than two years. Their logo is fine, but the rest of the font on the first page doesn’t match and there are large text-boxes with bolded print to boast their success rate and money-back guarantees.

These text boxes are extremely outdated and they are placed over a tacky stock photo of a corporate building to, we assume, assure the customer that they mean business. Below this is a large embedded video of what Global Timeshare Attorneys do and how they can help you, done in the style of those ‘draw my life’ videos from back in the day. They depict cartoonish characters being drawn by a hand with a sharpie as they go through the motions of getting their timeshare canceled.

This landing page is already not setting us up for success, and it is only further ruined by a crowded section at the bottom that details their location, contact info, and alleged credentials. Upon navigating to their contact section, you’ll find a standard contact form along with those repeated promises that they have a 100% success rate, Money-back guarantees, and that they’ve helped 2,500 clients end contracts in the last year.

If you’re hoping for more detailed information on their ‘our services’ page, you’ll be out of luck there as well. They once again reiterate that they have a 100% money-back guarantee, but that is nowhere near as comforting as an escrow payment option. We like to recommend companies that offer escrow payments as they provide clients with the security of knowing their contract will be dissolved before the company is paid in full. Learn more about the benefits of escrow payments here.

Scrolling further, you’ll find a lot of filler detailing how difficult timeshare contracts can be to dissolve but their services can help relieve you of that burden. This isn’t comforting at all and actually can draw clients away if they feel like they’re only being sold more of a scam. Clients looking to get out of their timeshares are seeking out a helpful company that makes them feel safe, and tons of filler and promises isn’t going to make your credibility any better.

‘How It Works’ offers very little as well with some vague step by steps of how the process will go, as well as infographics detailing timeshare costs. This whole page is a mess and offers nothing at all in the way of helpful information to release you from your timeshare. In our opinion, this entire page could have been removed from the website to reduce clutter, or filled with more detailed information about their services.

Approaching their ‘Legal Team’ section doesn’t offer more than a single lawyer by the name of Marilyn Thomassen, which we can find through their BBB is the firm that owns the business. They offer details about Thomassen’s 25-year career as an attorney and her experience in multiple facets of law, but paired with the barren legal team page it falls short of impressive.

They offer one more page in hopes of selling clients on their credibility, as they provide a section of resources. These are nothing more than links to news articles about timeshare scams and timeshare costs. All in all the entirety of the website is underwhelming and does very little to assure potential clients that their case will be handled efficiently in the hands of Global Timeshare Attorneys.

Global Timeshare Attorneys Reviews

Their Better Business Bureau profile is scarce when it comes to reviews, only offering two to speak of. Those two happen to be 5-star reviews and have led to 5 out of 5 ratings on their BBB profile. This isn’t promising, however, as they also have two filed complaints on their profile as well.

The first complaint details a guarantee/warranty issue that challenges this promised 100% money-back guarantee that Global Timeshare Attorneys felt the need to boast on every page of their website. This customer alleges that they went months after the initial consultation without contact and that they were met with no answers when they attempted contacting the company. They were bombarded with collection calls about their timeshare during this time and being unable to get through to Global Timeshare Attorneys, they were forced to speak with collections themselves.

They claim that the agency alleges they’d never been contacted by an attorney or anyone else attempting to resolve their contract. They also claim that when they tried to make good on the 100% money-back guarantee they were denied with a statement that if they were given their money back, everyone else would want their money back too. Global Timeshare Attorneys responded that they have been in contact with the resort and can’t give the refund because the client refused the settlement that they’d reached.

The client then alleges in return that they received no offer or information from the company and that any claims made otherwise are deceitful. The second complaint is very similar and seems to fully challenge this money-back guarantee. This is why we highly recommend companies with escrow payment options, so innocent clients aren’t scammed out of more of their money.

Much of the same can be found from their Google Reviews as well, with a 3.3 rating that is entirely due to a 1-star review alleging the company took their money and did nothing to contact them for resolution of their timeshare contract. The other two reviews seem to be a mistaken review for a pizza joint and a positive 5-star review for the actual company.

Global Timeshare Attorneys Review

While we are given no concrete idea of what their costs and fees look like, disgruntled reviews seem to suggest that the charge is upward of a grand. This is highly concerning, especially if you factor in the reviews that state money was taken and no resolution was met. Escrow payments are invaluable for this reason as they offer security to the client that their money will be returned to them should the company not deliver on its promises.

Clients shouldn’t be bled of their money from their timeshare and from the company that you’ve entrusted to release you from your contract. Before you make any initial contact you need to do your research to ensure that none of your money is being given over to companies that won’t do the job they are promising. You shouldn’t be scammed while trying to get out of a scam.

Summary

There is very little to redeem Global Timeshare Attorneys as a credible resource for a timeshare cancellation. They offer little to no substance on an outdated website, so you aren’t even made entirely sure of what their company can do for you before you’re given a contact form. There are no guarantees that your consultation is free or that you’ll be given any resolution before the aren’tmoney is exchanged. This is a huge red flag.

The term ‘attorneys’ also feels misleading when you are led to a legal team page with only one attorney present on it. Thomassen’s firm is of course related to this company, but there isn’t much information given unless you dig for it to find out who else you might be working with. This feels misleading and doesn’t offer much in the way of credibility.

There is no information provided on costs or fees, so you are expected to contact them and set up your contract with no idea how much it’ll cost you until consultation. This is also a huge red flag. Money should never exchange hands without the client being sure their needs will be fulfilled. There may be a couple of good reviews but having only been in practice for two years and to have 2 complaints and a bad Google review with very few positive reviews, does not make this company look good.

All three bad reviews commented on the alleged 100% money-back guarantee, stating that it isn’t a guarantee at all and their money is still being held by the company with no resolution. From what we can see Global Timeshare Attorneys is a company that hides behind the promise of professional legal aid, without delivering anything of substance. You’d be much better off with a company that offers upfront and honest solutions, information, and credible resources.

You should also be sure that whatever company you get to handle your contract, your money is secure and will not be released before a solution has been met.

Mexican Timeshare Solutions Review

Mexican Timeshare Solutions is a timeshare exit company located in Hayward California and has been in business since 2012. They started their business in 2009 but they claim to have over 25 years of experience in this industry among their fifteen professionals on staff. They cater specifically to those who have been scammed by timeshares to help release them from contracts they feel stuck in.

But do these claims of experience hold up against what they can actually offer you?

Mexican Timeshare Solutions Website Review

Their landing page seems to be solid and straightforward. It certainly isn’t anything that will immediately catch the viewer’s attention, but it also doesn’t distract potential clients with flashing scripts, tacky photos, or gimmicky slogans. The running theme we’ve found for most timeshare exit websites is the mixture of cool blue tones and white, to help ease the potential client before they’ve even contacted the service.

There is a small pop-up box in the right-hand corner that can be a bit annoying as it also will flash a message in your tab when you navigate to others. This is a small notification from customer support, stating that you can reply to that message at any time and they’ll help you out. This is a helpful feature, but the flashing message remaining or popping back up even after you’ve minimized it can be frustrating.

They are upfront in their marketing as soon as you enter the landing page, claiming they will cancel your timeshare with no upfront fees while also offering a free consultation. They also claim to have a 100% cancellation rate and that they have canceled nearly 14000 contracts. These are nice guarantees, as their promises do include that you’ll not have to pay anything if you don’t get results which sound very similar to an escrow payment option. We like working with companies that offer escrow, as it is the only sure-fire way to ensure your timeshare is canceled before a cent of your money is released to the company. Learn more about escrow payments and why they benefit you here.

If you wander over to their ‘About Us’ section, you’ll find some description about how they’ll help you cancel your contract but don’t provide many concrete details. Something promising though is that they provide LinkedIn profiles for some of their consultants and the company itself, giving them a small boost in credibility. They do use the phrase contingency basis when talking about their work, which can be promising as long as you can be assured you don’t have to put any money down unless things are resolved.

It is a bit odd that you can’t find their owner’s name on the website, but if you look at their BBB profile, you’ll find that the president of the company is Mr. Joe Gonzales. Though even a quick google search won’t bring up much in the way of finding out who he is and what his credentials are. They also claim to have 10 employees and that they are located in Hayward, California, but most of the LinkedIn profiles of their employees are based out of Mexico.

They do offer a pretty detailed blog section with many interesting titles such as Timeshare Lawyers, Timeshare Resorts are Abusing Their Clients During COVID-19, and Different Names Used In the Timeshare Industry. There are 18 pages full of informative blogs that can answer a multitude of questions you might have prior to contact, so it may turn out to be an invaluable resource to a potential client.

One of their standout features is their ‘Resort Blacklist’ section, which offers a forum for timeshare owners to discuss their experiences with different resorts and their complaints. They have listed thirty-one resorts with complaint numbers from only 7 to 520. This can be incredibly helpful to those who have timeshares with one of these resorts and are looking for validation or other information to help them get out of contracts.

They also offer a thorough FAQ section and an eight-page testimonial section that includes a video of satisfied customers. They have 75 testimonials available on their website for you to peruse to help boost their credibility.

All in all, it seems that their website though it may be lacking in finer details about the staff and owner, offers a variety of information that can be valuable to those seeking a timeshare exit. It is clean and well organized, ensuring that clients don’t have to hunt for the information they may be looking for.

Mexican Timeshare Solutions Reviews

While their website hosts 75 glowing reviews from happy customers, as well as a detailed video of testimonials, one of the best places to look for honest reviews is their BBB page. They have an overall score of 4.67 out of 5, though they have maintained an A+ rating. Their reviews may be a bit scarce on the BBB website, with only twelve but they do offer at least one review that isn’t perfect.

While you wouldn’t base your experience off of a single bad review, it is important to see what others may have gone through when using the company. A quick Google search will also offer up some pretty concerning information that this timeshare exit company is actually a scam. While we cannot confirm or deny these allegations, it is worth some more research before you decide to get yourself involved with this company.

Their reviews on their website are organized by which resort their clients were canceling from, which can actually be a helpful resource for others who might be in the same boat. These reviews claim that MTS was timely, thorough, and efficient in getting their contracts canceled with little no hassling and plenty of integrity. We of course aren’t entirely sure of the validity of these claims, but with 75 reviews on their website and 11 on the BBB that are all positive it does bode well for MTS.

Their bad review does detail that their business address leads to the location of a salon and massage parlor rather than an official office building. This does seem incredibly fishy and if you google the address, you will indeed come up with Amber Beauty Plus rather than the company you’re looking for.

Always be careful when you’re going to reach out to one of these companies and never give off important information unless you’re sure the company is credible. More information about how to spot timeshare scams here.

Mexican Timeshare Solutions Cost

There is no upfront information about costs or fees, which doesn’t actually comfort us much. They make many claims on their website that you won’t have to pay a single thing unless they can successfully release you from your contract, but they don’t tell you what you’ll have to pay if they do. There is also the claim that all of their work is contingency-based, so you don’t have to pay if no work has been done on your case.

While this may seem like a good thing, we really only want to consider companies that offer escrow payment options. Your fees shouldn’t be hidden behind walls until you get out of your contract and then are suddenly slapped with a huge bill. You should know everything upfront and even if you don’t pay right away you should know what your bill is going to come out to.

Summary

While the website for Mexican Timeshare Solutions does seem thorough and helpful with plenty of reviews, blogs, and complaints filed against certain resorts, there does seem to still be something fishy about this company. Googling them doesn’t bring you an official office address and their BBB profile gives an address of a hair salon that is sandwiched between tax offices. This isn’t comforting for the potential client who is accessing their company from another state and cannot go to the office itself to poke around.

Though their reviews seem to be glowing, that same Google search will also come up with several articles about potential scams related to Mexican Timeshare Solutions. While you do have to take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt, it is probably not wise to put all of your eggs in MTS’s basket without being completely sure of their credentials. The BBB is typically a good resource for vetting companies such as this one, you do need to be wary.

If you are going to get anything from this website, it is to use their resources to your advantage. Even if you don’t decide to go with their services to help you get out of your timeshare, their blog section and resort blacklist can be mined for information that can ultimately help you.

All in all, we would say that MTS is probably a company you’ll want to skip when it comes to timeshare exit solutions. They offer a good amount of advice and helpful information, but their credentials are sketchy enough to keep potential clients at bay and give reviewers like us red flags.

Linx Legal Review

Linx Legal is a timeshare exit company located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Myrtle Beach South Carolina, and Scottsdale Arizona. They also work remotely and have been in business for eleven years. Their slogan is that “Only the Best is Good Enough”, making hefty claims that they will not stop until they can release you from your unwanted timeshare without the hassle that other companies may put you through. But is Linx Legal the best or are they just good enough?

Linx Legal Website Review

We were immediately impressed by the appearance of the website. The landing page is incredibly professional and in neat colors that won’t distract the eye too much or make the client feel overwhelmed. They make the immediate claim that they are the industry’s premier timeshare debt cancellation company, which is your immediate first impression.

The more you scroll, you’ll find a small quiz you can take. This part of the landing page does feel a little out of place, but it is at least neatly incorporated into the overall appearance of the website. It seems to be a playful way to initiate contact with them but the contact information below it is in font that doesn’t quite match the rest of the website. It isn’t enough to detract from the rest of the landing page, but it doesn’t quite fit everything else.

They have some sections positioned underneath boasting their A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau’s website, as well as their 100% money-back guarantee should you not be released from your contract. Although a money-back guarantee sounds nice, we prefer to work with companies that offer an escrow payment option instead. When you pay with escrow, the exit company does not get paid in full until after the timeshare issue has been resolved. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here.

You can also book a consultation or review career opportunities and view testimonials through these links. They also ensure that you will not be foreclosed upon and that they will do whatever they can to take care of you to get the refund you deserve. This is good news because exit companies that simply tell you to stop paying your maintenance fees and let the timeshare go into foreclosure don’t actually do anything at all. You could have stopped payment on your timeshare all on your own.

Something we don’t often see on many of these sites either is a section specifically dedicated to those who help run and manage the business. There is a detailed description of the Vice President of Linx Legal and what his experience in the industry is so you can get an idea of who you’ll be working with. This information is done in further detail if you click on their ‘Who We Are’ tab.

This is a truly unique addition as many of the typical websites we see for timeshare legal aid or exit companies don’t give you a rundown of who you’ll be working with. We get to see a full roster of sixteen individuals who handle everything from marketing to case managing and are given an idea of who they are and what their experience is. This helps potential clients get a feel for the people they’ll be working with and adds credibility, so you don’t feel like you’re simply working with a corporation but more individual people.

Although it’s nice that this company display’s its employees on its website, we find it suspicious that the company owner is not shown. Upon further research, we found that the company CEO is Rosario Craig Musumeci. A quick Google search for this individual shows that he previously worked as a VP of Sales at Wyndham. This is probably why Mr. Musumeci doesn’t want to appear on his website. It’s not a good look to sell people timeshares and then charge them thousands of dollars to get out of those timeshares later.

The company also includes a video below their roster that showcases who they are and what they do. It is an animated video that is supposed to give you a basic rundown on what Linx Legal is and how they are going to help you get what you need. It can come across a little cheesy but it does get the point across and is relatively informative.

What we also like about their website is their fully-packed ‘What We Do’ section, which on a lot of websites seems to be just filler text. Linx Legal has jam-packed this section with plenty of helpful links to further explain subjects like Timeshare 101, The Five Biggest Lies in Timeshare, Statistics, Scams, and further information on lawyers and cancelling your fees or contract completely. This way potential clients can go and poke around those pages with their questions before they ever have to contact Linx Legal.

They even give you access to a step by step process of cancelling your timeshare with multiple vacation rental companies. They don’t seem to want to keep any information from potential clients and are dedicated to answering questions and guiding you through the process before you decide to contact them. They have a separate page to let you know where they work and that they service remotely throughout the United States, but also have three brick and mortar offices so you can come in if you are close by.

They assure clients they won’t lie or scam you and that they aren’t a law firm, but they do have attorneys on retainer should they be needed in a legal capacity. It is a bit deceiving that they’d call themselves “Linx Legal” when they’re not actually attorneys though. This will likely get them in trouble with the law down the road.

You can also look up a good portion of their employees so you can be sure of who you are working with and know that their credentials are legitimate.

Overall this seems like a solid website for a solid company, but we don’t like how the company owner hides himself on the website and how the company calls themselves “Linx Legal” when they aren’t actually attorneys.

Linx Legal Reviews

The company itself has a 4.9 out of 5 rating on their Better Business Bureau profile and they have 59 total reviews, so there are a solid number of individuals who have given Linx Legal 5 stars. Out of their 59 reviews, only three of them are below 5 stars.

One concern is that they have had two complaints filed against them in the last three years, though you can only view one of them on the BBB website. We also see several reviews mention that Linx Legal called them out of the blue (cold called) without them asking to be called. We typically do not like to recommend companies that call you out of the blue.

The complaint comes from an unnamed individual who claims that one of the company’s representatives has been spam calling him to try and get him to use their services even though he’s already allegedly refused. He claims he was called ignorant by one of the managers who called back when he asked to be removed from their calling list. One of the representatives of the company responded to this claim with profuse apologies and assured the individual that this employee had allegedly been terminated.

The other complaints have not been published in detail on the BBB website so we do not know what they entailed. All that’s known is that the complaints have been dealt with. As for their positive reviews they have a plethora on the BBB website that you can peruse, as even their 4,3, and even 2 star reviews still appear to be professional and positive.

All in all it seems Linx Legal handles all of their cases with grace, dignity, and professionalism.

Linx Legal Cost

You can book an initial consultation with them, but it doesn’t mention if this consultation costs or not. The only mildly disappointing thing about Linx Legal’s website is that there are few mentions of payment, which leaves the customer guessing until they can contact one of the company’s representatives. Giving the potential client a run down of what they can expect as far as payment plans and costs go.

We do like to recommend that clients go for a company that offers escrow payments as they are the most secure way to ensure your transaction reaches completion without any money being released beforehand. This is the best way to keep your company working for you without charging along the way and making things more expensive. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here.

Summary

If you’re looking for a reliable timeshare exit company with staff you can trust, Linx Legal may certainly be what you’ve been searching for. They have upfront and honest information available on their landing page and give every potential client access to a majority of if not all of who they have on staff. This is a real game-changer as it gives Linx more credibility in comparison to companies that make it hard to track down their employees.

You are also given access to a plethora of information on how to be released from contracts held by different resorts and how to avoid being scammed by your timeshare or your exit company. They offer trustworthy and helpful advice to those who are struggling to end contracts and find someone who is willing to advocate for them.

While it is a little concerning that they’ve had three complaints filed against them to the BBB, they have made efforts to resolve at least one of these issues and are consistently getting positive reviews for their hard work. We also don’t like the use of “Legal” in their brand name or that they don’t seem to offer an escrow payment option.  Other than that, Linx Legal seems to have what we’re looking for in a timeshare exit company as they are upfront, credible, and offer plenty of information so you don’t go into this process blindly.

Overall they seem to be a solid company with good values that is simply trying to help timeshare owners reach some form of relief with their contracts. Don’t hesitate to look up their staff on LinkedIn if you’re wanting to see more detailed information about their credentials.

Consultants Helping Individuals Review

Based in San Antonio, Texas, Consultants Helping Individuals, or CHI, is a timeshare exit company with eight years of experience in the industry. They claim to have an accumulative thirty years of experience in the timeshare management business and that they have brought over forty thousand timeshare owners to reach a better solution with their timeshare companies. With these hefty claims and supposed wealth of experience, can they really be trusted to release you of your timeshare woes?

Consultants Helping Individuals Website Review

The website upon first glance is clean and well organized. They have a unique logo that sets them apart from other exit companies, appearing to be a lighthouse and compass combined. The colors all match and make the site look neat without being garish. The clean blue and white along with the tasteful stock photography set a good impression right away.

You are also immediately met with a message that states their clear purpose and a button where you can request a free consultation. It is good to know right off the bat what you’re supposed to expect from this company and how you can contact them, but also have plenty of other information available for your perusal outright. You can also tell that their site updates frequently as it has mentions of the COVID-19 pandemic and how they are offering solutions to clients who feel stuck without the ability to travel.

If you look a little further down you are also given their CHI guarantees that assure potential clients they are not representatives of any resort so they will prioritize you over your timeshare, that they offer a variety of solutions for each individual client, and that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They want to ensure potential clients before they ever contact them that they understand your situation may be difficult, especially in current times and they will work with you to find the right option for you. They also boast that they have an A+ rating from the BBB, which is confirmed by their profile.

A truly unique tab on CHI’s website is their advice section, offering a specific page for timeshare scams. They have a detailed rundown of how corrupt the timeshare industry has become and how it is largely unregulated so the market is flush with timeshare scams. They teach you how to identify scams and avoid them as well as stop paying frivolous maintenance fees. They even draw you back to their service by giving you themselves as a resource to help you get your money back or sell your timeshare without the risk of being scammed.

This adds to their credibility, wanting consumers to know what a scam looks like and how to avoid getting duped by one. They further their credibility with a section of their website dedicated to their process. Not many timeshare exit companies detail their process to helping clients get out of their contract.

CHI provides a helpful video that while it is a little cheesy, it explains to potential clients what to expect from their service and what their options are. They claim their process is three steps, initial consultation, identifying concerns, and then presenting solutions. They say there is no obligation to accept these solutions but that your discussion with them is free regardless so you can ask all of your questions and weigh options without ever putting money in their hands.

Their F.A.Q section is also filled with helpful questions that you might not have thought of initially, or just want answered without having to talk to someone first. They even make the claim they aren’t a timeshare exit company, but rather a program that offers real solutions and can even allow their clients to keep their timeshare while relieving them of maintenance and club fees.

It is marketed less as a timeshare exit company and rather a solution to allow individuals to still travel and explore without feeling tied to their timeshare experience. It will help these individuals save money without being stuck in one timeshare that keeps driving up the price. This is a different approach to the usual timeshare solutions so it is unique.

This business thankfully offers details about the owners and staff on their BBB page. They are owned and operated by Mr. Ryan K. Climer, and Ms. Angela M. Climer who are affiliated with Climer Holdings Inc. So you can follow those names and find their other business ventures and credentials.

Consultants Helping Individuals Reviews

If you’re looking on their website you’ll find a few positive reviews from satisfied customers like James G, Dolores, and Annie. The first two seem to be from other industry professionals who turned to CHI to help them with their own timeshare troubles and found the meeting they had with their CHI expert to be informative and helpful. Annie mentions a team member, Freddy, by name and explains that she was given plenty of information so she could keep enjoying her vacations but exit whenever she was ready.

Out of their reviews on the BBB website however, they are currently standing at 4.43 out of 5, with the 14 reviews on their website. There are two 1 star reviews with the other twelve being 5 stars. The first is a review by D. N, who is claiming that the company was very unprofessional and couldn’t answer any of their questions, also alleging they met without masks or distancing at the beginning of COVID in March of 2019.

The company does respond to these allegations and there is a back and forth between them and the customer where they claim there are recorded phone calls assuring her questions were answered. The customer does not concede to these allegations and instead issues a warning to all who use CHI that they should be wary.

The next complaint comes from K.L, alleging that CHI are a company of scam artists that are trying to take advantage of timeshare owners rather than assisting them. They claim the company is shady and misleading and that they were not given all of the information they asked for. The company counters that the client is allegedly making up lies and accusations that have no base and they have the evidence to prove this.

While we have no proof either way, the overwhelming amount of positive reviews in favor of CHI below this do seem to outweigh the bad. Many of the happy customers claim they were helped to better understand the timeshare industry and the options that were available to them other than simply exiting their timeshare immediately.

It is important to be wary of those bad reviews and always be careful during interactions with a timeshare exit company.

Consultants Helping Individuals Cost

There is no definitive answer to the cost of this company’s membership plan, but they do offer a thorough free consultation so you can see if their service is right for you. You don’t have to put any money down before you get the answers you might be needing. We do wish they would have mentioned information about their payment types or payment plans as we typically recommend services that offer Escrow payments. Escrow payments just ensure that you and your family don’t have to release any funds to your exit company before you get a solution to your problem.

Summary

Overall they have a very clean and well thought out website that offers a wealth of information to potential clients. Their process is also defined in a good amount of detail on the website before you have to contact them at all. CHI also wants to warn you against potential scams and offer an alternative to your typical timeshare exit plan. If you’re looking for an alternative solution from an accredited company, then CHI might be the option for you.

While they do have two bad reviews under their belt and they don’t offer any information about their pricing, they are very upfront about what they do and how they do it so there are no guessing games for the client to partake in. They even offer advice on how to identify, avoid, or even survive a potential scam that is an invaluable resource to timeshare owners who may not have a clear idea of what a scam looks like and how they might get out of that situation.

Many timeshare owners are left in the dark about their timeshare options and aren’t given a full wealth of resources to help them make a clear and informed decision. CHI seems to offer that helping hand to help timeshare owners fully understand their timeshare and adapt their contract to their needs. Though this is not a service without its own flaws, it does offer a unique experience that can help timeshare owners who might not be ready to fully exit.

This way vacationers can still enjoy their timeshare without completely getting rid of it, but having the option to release it at a later date.

Cavalry Financial Services Review

Cavalry Financial Services is a timeshare exit company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They have been in business since late 2019 and are considered a Consumer Advocacy Group that is dedicated to providing customers with solutions to their timeshare problems. They claim to be a leader in the Consumer Advocacy industry but there is little to be seen that backs up those claims. Are they telling the truth, or are they just desperate for a customer base?

Cavalry Financial Services Website Review

Immediately the website leaves little to be desired. Most companies these days will either employ a web designer to craft their site for them, or they’ll use a hosting template like WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace to create a site for them. If this site was designed by a web designer, they didn’t work very hard on it.

The logo and landing page both look cheap and the landing page itself is organized in color blocks with stock photos intermixed. Their contact information is in a font that doesn’t match the rest of the theme or the fonts of the website and it is in bold so it detracts the eye away from everything else. This could be because they want you to call them immediately and the larger and bolder font choice shows you where to look first, but it takes away from the overall appearance of the website more than anything else.

Another annoying addition to this bolded contact information is shown when you first load the web page and the phone number spins into view as a little effect. This approach may make sense for older folks as they would prefer something more simplistic in design where they can easily locate the contact information and navigate the layout. Even though it may be simplistic for a functional reason, it can also lower the credibility of the company and lead individuals to navigate away.

For a company so new in the game, the design is outdated and the information provided isn’t thorough enough to give potential clients an idea of what their credentials are. They make a claim in their ‘About Us’ section to be a leader in consumer advocacy, but with only a year of business under their belts that seems to be a lofty statement. Googling doesn’t give you much more information about who runs Cavalry Financial and their BBB page doesn’t provide anything in the way of who owns the LLC or runs the service.

The only bit of information we get about who runs this exit company is on their FAQ page, where they confirm they are not attorneys. So all we really know about them at all is that they are a Consumer Advocacy Group that has been in business since 2019, and there are no testimonials to guide potential clients.

They claim that they are a proud member of the U.S Chamber of Commerce but aren’t even accredited by the Better Business Bureau. This definitely raises some immediate red flags that this company is not what they say they are. They do have a contact page where you can fill out a contact form, call them, email them, or even fax them if that’s your preference.

Their ‘Services’ page provides some information on how they conduct their business so it is worth a read if clients get that far. They claim that their goal is to completely release their clients from their timeshare contracts and eradicate their back mortgage and maintenance or membership fees. They also offer a free consultation so that you can talk with them about your issues before you hire them.

They also claim they tailor-make their solutions for every individual account, but that’s not something that can really be backed up by their website unless you contact them first. We want to warn you against potential scams as this is one of the ways that scammers can lure in unsuspecting victims. The website does not have much to it and urges you to contact them rather than providing any concrete information.

This is a great way for scammers to get ahold of you and masquerade as a timeshare exit company in order to get your information. You need to be careful every time you contact one of these companies, but especially if there is nothing online to lead you to believe the company is legitimate. Cavalry Financial Services raises those red flags more than once having no LinkedIn presence, BBB profile, or much of anything else to assure the potential client that they aren’t handing their information over to a business that isn’t accredited.

This as well as a website that is unpolished and devoid of definitive information or credentials leaves this service lacking.

Cavalry Financial Services Reviews

One of the things that really isn’t giving Cavalry Financial Services a gold star, is their startling lack of credentials and testimonials. They have essentially laid out plenty of claims that they are a leader and will be able to get you out of any contract with a timeshare company without any credentials to back them up. When you search Cavalry Financial Services, their office in New Mexico shows up with two google reviews. Further than that, there is little information regarding this service to fully confirm if they are a reliable resource.

Googling doesn’t even tell us who owns the company, though they do respond to a single review on their Google Reviews. Both reviews are overall positive, giving the business 5 stars and claiming that they were professional and got them out of their timeshare troubles quickly and efficiently. One of the reviews is from 11 months ago, while the other is just from a month ago so there isn’t any consistent or ongoing knowledge about this company.

One individual under the name MomTheBomb1 on Google Reviews claimed he was incredibly grateful to the team at Cavalry Financial for their hard work and dedication to getting him out of his timeshare and clearing his outstanding balances. This is the comment that received the response from supposedly the owner of the business, thanking them for their kind words. This is incredibly odd as it is difficult to get even the smallest hint of who is on staff or who owns this business from simple research.

The more recent review under the name of Rick Powell claims they were skeptical at first because they had been mistreated by Timeshare Exit Companies before. Allegedly Cavalry Financial managed to do what every company thus far hadn’t been able to accomplish and got them out of their timeshare quickly and efficiently.

Overall this spread of reviews speaks positively of the company but it seems so out of place for a company that has so little known about them online.

Cavalry Financial Services Cost

It isn’t mentioned on their website how much their services cost, or how they conduct their payment. This is another red flag as you want details about if your exit company is going to do upfront payment or escrow payment. We highly recommend going with a company that offers escrow payment so you don’t have to worry about being scammed out of your money.

They do offer that initial free consultation so if you do decide to inquire, you’ll want to ask about their costs and payment plans upfront so there are no surprises once you get involved. If you are really concerned and aren’t sure you want to go with a company that doesn’t offer their fees and payment information initially, you may want to keep searching.

Summary

If we are going to be really honest about how much faith we have in this company, it isn’t much. The website leaves a lot to be desired and hasn’t been crafted in a way that will draw in potential clients. With the lack of information about the team or the owner of the group, you aren’t given the appearance that this company is legitimate.

The copy of their website also offers very little in the way of actual information on what they do to help you get out of your timeshare contracts and waive outstanding balances. You get a little information, essentially stating that they’ll work with you as soon as you contact them, meaning you open yourself up to possible repeated contact even if you don’t want to work with them after the initial consultation. This doesn’t bode well for timeshare owners who are already struggling to deal with their shady timeshare management.

If you’re looking for trustworthiness and reliability there are no guarantees here that can be backed up by more than two Google reviews and the claims they make on their website. We recommend looking into a service that ensures the client there are dedicated and knowledgeable individuals that will handle each case. If you’re not going with an attorney, or an attorney-based service, an exit company that has solid reviews and more official information from the Better Business Bureau will certainly offer more to those struggling with a timeshare than Cavalry Financial Services.

Cancel Any Timeshare Review

Cancel Any Timeshare, also known as Vacation Ownership Consultants LLC is an attorney-based timeshare exit company located in Scottsdale, Arizona. They have been in business since 2014 and they pride themselves on an alleged 100% success rate, as well as their attorney-based services. While having attorneys be the base of the company would typically put a lot of people at ease, does that make this exit company more trustworthy than others in the market?

Cancel Any Timeshare Website Review

The first impression you get from their website’s landing page is that it is busy. The page is cluttered with a plethora of information, images, links, and videos that are intended to draw the eye. They draw the eye a bit too much as you’re not quite sure where you should be looking first. Immediately you know that they are an attorney-based company which is a comfort for those who feel more at ease knowing that a licensed professional is handling their case.

They claim immediately to be easy and affordable and provide a welcome video, so you can get a feel for who they are and what they do right away. The unfortunate downside is that the link to the video no longer works and has yet to be updated with a new video. A broken link as the first impression is already kind of setting the site off on the wrong foot, but there’s certainly more to look at.

They have a link below the broken video that says to check your eligibility and that link leads to a very thorough eligibility form. This is a nice addition as it is something you don’t find very often. Usually you have to make contact with the exit company first before you determine your eligibility.

If you scroll further on their website you’ll find their dedication to consumer protection, complete with a stock image of lady justice with her weighing scales. They want any potential clients who might be skeptical that they can have their contract dismissed, not to be deterred by what they think is a binding contract. They assure clients that they will look for every loophole, potential breach, mistake, or potential fraud to help you get free from your contract.

Scrolling again you’ll see they offer a few options in terms of the services they provide. They offer deed transferring, timeshare termination, timeshare cancellation, and help with document research. Below this section you’ll find another form to fill out if you want to contact them for a consultation. They also include infographics of how much clients are overpaying and how mortgage rates and maintenance fees skyrocket over time.

Their landing page is certainly cluttered with information, but the information isn’t just filler. You can find some helpful gems if you read thoroughly. In one of the sections they mention a full money back guarantee if they can’t win or get you out of your contract. Below that you’ll find two pricing plans for termination and cancellation, though if you follow the learn more links for each you won’t get too much extra information about costs. Following the termination link, the only valuable information I was able to find was that they offer 0 down and 0% interest payment plans to certain clients but you have to schedule a consultation to hear how you might qualify for those. Relatively the same happens if you follow the cancellation link as well.

Their “About Us” is underwhelming as it essentially details how long they’ve been in business but nothing about those on staff or the specifics of how they conduct their business. To find out who is on staff you’ll have to find their BBB page where you can see that there are three people mentioned who manage the business. These individuals are Jeremy Russo, Michael Cantrell, and Kira Fairbank, and there isn’t much information available beyond that unless you search their LinkedIn pages, which don’t give you much either.

Overall the website doesn’t have too much going for it, but it is solid enough and leads you directly to a consultation and proper eligibility forms. It seems the website is more to lead potential clients to the avenues to contact those on staff. Further than that, you’ll have to find out the answers to your remaining questions when you contact them.

Cancel Any Timeshare Reviews

The reviews you’ll find on their website are all organized in a convenient Reviews tab that seems to be the most efficient and forthright part of their website. All of their reviews are sectioned off depending on where they come from, so you have a Yelp section, BBB, Facebook, and TrustPilot. They also have links in each of these sections that lead you to their profile on these websites for further reviews.

Of course all of the reviews featured on their website are positive so they don’t really present an unbiased representation of their services, but if you go to the links they’ve provided you can see that largely their client response is positive. Some other members of the group are mentioned by name such as Raymond Reese and Wendy Draskovic, so at least we know there are others on staff that clients can search to find credentials.

The overwhelming consensus seems to be that this service is efficient, treats their clients with dignity, and makes the process quick and painless. This is a good sign as there are many exit services on the market that try to milk as much time and money out of their clients as possible by drawing out the process. Though we don’t know for certain if this is true, it seems to be the general review that working with Cancel Any Timeshare, or VOC as they are also known, is easy and takes the pressure off.

If you dig a little deeper, you will find that they have a 4.9 overall rating on both Angi’s list and the BBB website. They have 0 customer complaints though and the only “poor” rating is a 4 star that still details the client having an allegedly good experience with the service. Angi’s list while at a 4.9 rating, doesn’t allow you to see the lower rated review so it can’t be said what that entails.

Overall they seem to have a solid customer base and good reviews due to diligence, efficiency, and solid work ethic.

Cancel Any Timeshare Cost

Once again we aren’t given any details on how much their services cost aside from the promise of a possible 0 money down 0% interest plan for those who qualify. It is unfortunate you aren’t given the details on the website of what qualifies you for this plan, but instead you have to speak to one of their representatives first. This seems like a bit of a waste of time, but they do try to get the majority of your information in their initial forms so they can tell you upfront whether you qualify or not for their services.

We also would have liked to see the mention of an escrow payment option as this is the safest and most efficient way to put money down for a service like this. An escrow payment ensures that no money is given to the service until their part of the bargain has been completed. If you want to take some time to weed through reviews for more information on payment options, costs, and fees you won’t find very much there either.

It seems your best bet is to fill out their contact form and wait to speak with one of their representatives at a later date.

Summary

It seems that overall Cancel Any Timeshare makes hefty claims to be a fast and efficient service that will help get you out of any timeshare with little hassle. The nicest part is that they seem to back up those hefty claims with glowing customer reviews, plentiful information, and an efficient website despite a few unfortunate glitches.

There may be some heavy-handed paragraphs that don’t lead to much important information, but this service makes up for it in their good customer service and thorough forms. It does seem the best way to get all of the information you’re looking for is to contact them, so it can be a bit bothersome if you’re someone who wants answers quickly.

We do think that there should be more attention paid to giving potential clients more information about pricing, who’s on staff, and general credentials so they don’t have to go digging for it themselves. This would just take their website and the overall credibility of the service up a notch. Without these additions they may be losing out on potential clients who won’t take the time to check out their testimonials. Those individuals need more information to chew on before they make a decision about the service they’ll be using for their timeshare troubles.

All in all they seem to be a solid group that is backed up by qualified attorneys and a great customer base.

Bishop and Waters Consulting Group Review

Bishop and Waters Consulting Group is located in Carlsbad California and they specialize in timeshare contract cancellation and contract transfers. They have six years of experience in this industry and according to their website, they claim to be a consumer advocacy group whose main focus is lifting the financial burden of a timeshare off of their client’s shoulders. But does their good online presence actually belay a good exit company to go with?

Website Review

The first impression you get of Bishop and Waters is the cleanliness and ease of navigation that their website provides. There is a clean transition of photos that all depict beautiful places or stock photos of older folks in distress. While the photos and their captions urging the website traffic to contact them today can be a bit cheesy, it is formatted well and doesn’t appear garish like some other websites we’ve seen.

Their tab section at the top of the site is very neat and easy to access, no broken links and you’ll be able to find everything you need. The further you scroll you’ll find their “About Us” and it details their years of experience while trying to reassure potential clients that they will help ease your financial burdens. They also have a handy included form to fill out so you can contact them for a free consultation.

They even have a helpful welcome video to make potential clients feel more at ease with contacting them. If you drop to the bottom of the screen you’ll find a rotating carousel of testimonials from happy clients all over the United States. These testimonials are written like letters and always start with a friendly greeting to Bonnie who is the owner and who allegedly helps every step of the way. All of their contact information is located at the bottom right of the screen for ease of access along with their hours and address.

If you click on their “About Us” tab, you would think you’d get a more detailed page of information about what Bishop and Waters can do for you but that isn’t exactly what you’ll find. Their little about us blurb is a restatement of what was already on their landing page, though they’ve now added tabs labeled Shared Complaints, Misunderstandings, Frustration, Life Changes, and Be Free of the Burden.

If you click on each of these you’ll find a small explanation of why they help individuals get free of their timeshares and why someone would want to get rid of their timeshare in the first place. These aren’t necessarily helpful, they look more like an attempt to fill the page with information to help endear the potential client, but it doesn’t quite hit the intended mark. They fall short of providing helpful information and mostly appear as filler rather than anything relevant.

Their Services tab leads directly back to the section on their landing page that holds the video introduction and states that they cancel and transfer contracts so this tab also was used to fill the space. Thankfully their Testimonials tab leads to a page where they’ve posted up intimate testimonies from their satisfied customers, but there is an overlap in some of the ones listed on the page and what was provided in the testimonial carousel on the landing page.

They do provide a helpful Resources tab so you can be directed to their cost calendar to find out how much you’re paying vs. how much you could be saving. They also have a glossary of terms that come up in timeshare negotiations so you aren’t going in blind.

If you access their Blog tab, you’ll find a scrolling list of helpful blogs they’ve provided such as “How To Get Out of That Vacation Timeshare Amid the Pandemic” and “How to Spot Timeshare Scams”. These could be helpful resources for those who aren’t very versed in timeshares or the scams they can fall prey to.

The only other available tab is a contact tab that is the same fill-out form you can find on the landing page. There is no mention of how much their services cost or whether or not they do escrow payment. Escrow payments are something we value as they are the only surefire way to ensure your timeshare is canceled before any money is released to the company or firm helping you.

Overall the website is helpful in some ways but is lacking substantial information about those on staff and what exactly they’ll do to help you cancel or transfer your contract.

Bishop and Waters Consulting Group Reviews

You’ll find testimonials from a few of their clients featured on their website both on the landing page and a separate tab dedicated to all customer reviews. There aren’t very many but all of them are positive, addressing Bonnie who is both the owner and apparently incredibly instrumental to the timeshare exit process. You’ll find little clues about the other members of the team from these reviews, mentioning a law team and other members of the group.

You can garner from these reviews that Bonnie is a very dedicated presence throughout the whole process. It seems that she gets very close with her clients and even remembers to catch up with them once in a while and according to one has even sent a gift before. While these testimonials may be a bit biased as they are the ones featured on the website, we found it hard to find any negative reviews about Bishop and Waters Consulting Group anywhere.

Their BBB profile as well as their Google reviews are full of mostly positive reviews from customers who were satisfied with their trustworthiness, timeliness, and attention to detail. One of the reviews we saw even mentioned that Bishop and Waters apparently put the client on a payment plan to make things easier for them. Everyone mentions being extremely comfortable with Bonnie and the rest of her team as they did their best to meet client needs no matter what.

The only negative review we could find was a 1 star on Google Reviews that mentioned Bishop and Waters allegedly charged them a huge fee and that hiring them was a mistake. They do mention by name another timeshare exit company so we don’t know how credible this source is, especially when the rest of the reviews across the board are all 5 stars.

The process is allegedly made easy, efficient, and most people reported that their credit scores went up immediately after Bishop and Waters helped them get the timeshare cleared from their record. CEO Bonnie Kulka seems to have loyal clients who were impressed by her attentiveness and willingness to guide them through the whole process without taking advantage. Individuals with timeshares are prone to be duped with language or jargon they don’t understand, but allegedly Bonnie Kulka makes it her mission to explain every step so her clients know what they have gotten into and what they are getting out of.

All in all these testimonies seem legitimate and highly complementary, which speaks for the group as a whole.

Bishop and Waters Consulting Group Cost

While no prices or fees are specifically mentioned, if you mine their website and their reviews a little bit you can find some small clues. They apparently offer free consultations and you can contact them to see if you qualify for an exit plan before you put any money down. There are also possible payment plans available according to two reviews we spotted in our search.

They do not mention escrow payment as an option but that is something you can certainly bring up during your initial consultation.

Summary

While their website is a bit lackluster as far as content goes, their reviews speak volumes about the efficiency of this group. We would like to see some of this greatness translated to their website so potential clients can get an initial impression of who they might be working with. The Group’s About Us and Services tabs could use a big makeover to fully detail who they are and what they do to help you, but perhaps they believe their results speak for themselves.

It would also benefit them to provide information about who they have working for them and if they have a background in law, so potential clients can feel more at ease right off the bat. They should also include a section that details the payment options they offer so you know what you’re getting into right away. It is important to have most of the information upfront so you don’t waste time or effort with a company that might not be trustworthy in the end.

All in all, though,  the plethora of positive reviews really swayed us. The fact that the testimonials were consistent across the board really sold us on their credibility and trustworthiness. If you decide to look into Bishop and Waters Consulting Group, you’ll want to start with that initial consultation just to make sure they can actually help you with your timeshare exit.
