Omni Ellis Review

Pros:
Cons:

Warning! – Update 5/28/21 – Omni Ellis has added a contact number for complaints on the BBB. If you are a current Omni Ellis customer and have a complaint, contact Corey at 720-382-4514.

Please note – We highly recommend not working with this company at this time.

Omni Ellis is one more timeshare exit company that may be able to relieve you of your timeshare ownership. The company has been in business since 2015 and is located in San Francisco, California.

The company website looks professional enough, but some of the content needs some tweaks. Under the “About Omni Ellis” headline on the homepage the company tries to make you think that your timeshare must be passed down to your heirs when you die. This is a common scare tactic that timeshare exit companies use to try to make you think that you must hire a timeshare exit company to get out of your ownership or else your heirs will be stuck with it. The truth is, you do not have to pass down your timeshare to your heirs when you die because there are ways your heirs can refuse to accept the timeshare.

Moving over to the Our Mission page and things start to look a little better. We like how the company mentions the rescission period available to consumers immediately after a timeshare is purchased. This is a period that you can cancel a timeshare and receive a full refund. Omni Ellis mentions that this rescission period is 3 – 7 days and varies by state. This timeline is a bit short as it’s actually more like 3 – 14 days in most states.

On the homepage and Our Mission page Omni Ellis mentions “No Removal No Fee”, which sounds good in theory. It is unclear whether or not this is an up-front fee or not, so let’s take a look at some reviews.

Omni Ellis Reviews

Update 3/15/21 – Omni Ellis Reviews on the BBB are now very negative with over 66 complaints.

Several customers mention going to an in-person timeshare cancellation to listen to a presentation from an Omni Elis employee. Many customers regard this meeting as being very professional and informative. Some customers mention seeing an ad in the paper for this meeting while others mention receiving a phone call.

Many customers on the BBB mention paying an up-front fee for Omni Ellis’ services, but this can not be verified because these reviews may not be from actual customers. Some reviewers mention a “100% money-back” guarantee as well. Again, this sounds good in theory, but we here at TimeshareExitCompanies.com typically does not recommend working with any timeshare exit company that charges an up-front fee. The company could go out of business and never refund your money. Timeshare exit companies get sued by timeshare resorts all the time, so going out of business is a real possibility. For example, this recently happened with a company called Aconsumercredit in Ormand Beach, Florida. Read more about this here:

Omni Ellis Cost & Fees

Even though Omni Ellis has more than 40 reviews on the BBB, not one mentions the Omni Ellis cost. This is a bit odd. And obviously, Omni Ellis does not display its costs on its website. Not a single timeshare exit company displays its costs on its website, so nothing out of the ordinary here.

Summary

Overall, Omni Ellis is a company we do not recommend.

Always remain highly cautious of any company that wants to charge you an up front fee to cancel your timeshare. Fill out the form on the right side of this page or initiate live chat to learn more about how you can cancel your timeshare with an escrow option.

Fastest Exit Review

Fastest Exit is a relatively new timeshare exit company based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. The company was incorporated in April, 2019.

This company came to our attention from a live chat conversation we had with a Club Solaris timeshare owner a few days ago. This timeshare owner told us that Fastest Exit contacted him and told him that Fastest Exit could get the total amount paid for his timeshare returned if he joined a class action lawsuit against Club Solaris. Most legitimate timeshare exit companies do not cold call customers out of the blue like this, so our alarm bells began to ring. The timeshare owner further went on to tell us that Fastest Exit told him that it got a full list of all 40,000 members of Club Solaris from the Profeco Consumer Protection group of Mexico. Again, alarm bells. It’s very unlikely that Profeco, a consumer protection group in Mexico, would give Fastest Exit a full list of members at Club Solaris.

So, we looked at the Fastest Exit website to investigate.

After reviewing the website a few things stand out to us. On the FAQ page the company says that if you want to recover money from your timeshare, contact Fastest Exit for help. However, on the /exit-your-timeshare page Fastest Exit says it won’t buy your timeshare and doesn’t recover money that has already been paid for the timeshare. A confusing start.

Heading over to the Scholarship page and we see that Fastest Exit is offering a scholarship to those who write an essay answering two questions. One question asks the students to write about why it makes sense to pay an upfront fee to exit your timeshare. More alarm bells. We like to recommend timeshare exit companies that offer an escrow payment option so the timeshare exit company does not get paid in full until after your timeshare has been cancelled. When you pay a timeshare exit or resale company upfront, you have no idea if the company is going to do what it says it is going to do. You could pay the company upfront, and the company may never cancel your timeshare. When you pay with escrow, the company has an incentive to complete the work it was hired to do. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here.

Fastest Exit is not a law firm. On the company’s FAQ page it states that most timeshare exits do not need a lawyer. Instead, most exits can be done directly with the resort. If this is true, it begs the question, why would Fastest Exit’s services be needed if an exit can be obtained directly from the resort? Why wouldn’t a timeshare owner simply contact their resort themselves and cancel the timeshare on their own? After all, many timeshare developers now offer “deed back” or “take back” programs that will take a timeshare back when an owner no longer wants it.

Fastest Exit Cost & Fees

Like most timeshare exit companies, the Fastest Exit costs are not available on its website. The company does indicate that it is less expensive that a lawyer.

Fastest Exit Reviews

Fastest Exit reviews are difficult to locate on third party websites around the Internet. There are several reviews on the Fastest Exit website, but it’s typically not a good idea to trust reviews on a company’s own website because most companies only display positive reviews. Video reviews are a bit more trustworthy, but in this case we don’t see any video reviews.

Summary

In summary our recommendation does not change. Work with a timeshare exit company that offers an escrow payment option for extra piece of mind when cancelling your timeshare. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here.

TS Elimination Review

TS Elimination is yet another company that claims it can help you get out of your timeshare. The company has been in business since 2015 and is located in Las Vegas, NV.

When reviewing the homepage the first thing that stands out to us is the mention of a 100% guarantee. TS Elimination promises to get you out of your timeshare or give you 100% of your money back. If TS Elimination promises to give you your money back, the company must want you to pay them up front before canceling your timeshare.

We here at TimeshareExitCompanies.com like to recommend timeshare exit companies that allow timeshare owners to pay using an escrow payment option so the timeshare exit company does not get paid in full from the escrow account until after your timeshare is cancelled. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here.

Heading over to the FAQ page and nothing alarming stands out. The company says it typically takes 3 to 9 months to cancel a timeshare with no mortgage and if you owe a mortgage it typically takes longer. This is in-line with other timeshare exit companies in the industry.

The testimonials page is filled with positive testimonials which is great but doesn’t really mean anything. It is extremely rare for a company to post negative testimonials on its website. That is why it is typically better to look at third party review websites.

TS Elimination Reviews

TS elimination reviews on the BBB are positive. The company has 48 reviews with 5 complaints as of 11/15/19. There are a few negative reviews on the BBB, but all have an answer from TS Elimination. Negative reviews typically relate to customers claiming TS Elimination did not return their call. There is also a negative review on a site called Complaints Base but it is difficult to verify the authenticity of this anonymous negative review.

TS Elimination Cost & Fees

TS Elimination costs are not available online. This is very common in the timeshare exit industry. No company displays its costs online. However, sometimes a cost can be found by reading reviews of others. In this case, we see one person on the BBB mention that it costs $9,000 for them to get rid of their timeshare with TS Elimination. Another customer mentions paying $5,645.

Summary

Overall, our recommendation does not change. We recommend working with a timeshare exit company that offers an escrow payment option. When you pay with escrow, the timeshare cancellation company does not get paid in full until after your timeshare is cancelled. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here.

Global Business Consultants Timeshare Scam

This is a short blog post to warn timeshare owners about a new timeshare scam being carried out by a company calling themselves Global Business Consultants. The company has an F on the BBB along with 3 complaints.

According to online reviews and customers who have contacted us, Global Business Consultants contacts timeshare owners out of the blue and offers them a ridiculously high price for their timeshare. Usually, this scam is used for timeshares in Mexico. Global Business Consultants will tell you to wire them money for some sort of international transfer fee, and then your timeshare will be sold. This will not happen. You will transfer the fee, and never hear from them again.

This is the oldest scam in the book when it comes to timeshare resales. The truth is, most timeshares lose most of their value the second they are purchased. Timeshare is not an investment. This is why you can find many timeshares on for sale by owner sites like Ebay for sale for $1 with no one buying them.

Because timeshares are so difficult to sell, many owners have turned to timeshare exit companies to cancel their timeshare. These companies work with lawyers to get your timeshare cancelled. For more information on how to cancel your timeshare with a timeshare exit company, initiate live chat, submit a contact form on the right side of the page or give us a call 833-416-8796

Resort Legal Team Review

Resort Legal Team Inc. is a timeshare exit company based out of Las Vegas, NV that was formed in 2016. The company describes itself as a timeshare fraud specialist and consultancy group that assists clients with legal cancellation of their timeshare or vacation ownership.

An Analysis of Resort Legal Team’s Website

While the copyright on the website still displays 2016, the site layout appears to be modern and mobile friendly. The gold and white color scheme is different than other timeshare exit companies. Along the top navigation are standard links for “Home” “About Us”, “Testimonials” and “Contact Us”.

We jumped to the “About Us” and was greeted with an image of a professionally dressed man meditating followed by blocks of information that describes who they are, what the company does and why it matters.

We learn that Resort Legal Team appears to be team of attorneys and industry specialists who determine the best approach to legally get a client of their timeshare by obtaining as much information as possible about the timeline of the “courtship” of how their potential client went from sales pitch to signing a contract for their timeshare. We also learn that they offer credit protection.

The “Why it Matters” is essentially a blurb that states, in summary, you may have fallen for a scam once, do not do it again and that a potential client should work with attorneys to help them exit their timeshare.

The rest of the page is a call to action to contact the company for a free consultation.

It was not clear if this company has attorneys on staff or if they are an attorney referral service as there are not names, titles or pictures listed on the “About Us” page.

The next page we reviewed was the “Testimonials” page which is simply a long page with large gray blocks of customer quotes so this tells us we will need to inspect lots of “off-site” reviews to really understand more about the company. We prefer to see either video testimonials or at minimum photos of the former clients, so this page leaves a lot to be desired.

On the “Contact Us” page, we found a call to action to contact the company for a free consultation.

Returning to the “Home” page to see if we can learn more information, we learn the company states they are “100% Risk Free” – which may or may not mean they offer 100% Money Back. We are not entirely sure what Resort Legal Team means by “100% Risk Free”, but it’s clear that clients get an assigned attorney, and the company offers credit repair which is consistent with the “About Us” content.

In the second half of the “Home” page, we thought we found FAQs as there was a list of text written in question format appear to be hyperlinked however the links do not link to content.

After reading the last statement below the series of questions, we understood the purpose.

Our interpretation is the company focuses on how the timeshare or vacation ownership developers probably used misleading sales tactics to pressure their potential client into purchasing the property. Scrolling down further on the page, the website has an info graphic that describes the timeline of sales to purchasing which unfortunately, will sound too familiar for our readers.

Overall, there is not much content on the website, but the message is simple and clear. Our review pretty much sums it up, but we would encourage you to visit the site.

Resort Legal Team’s Web Presence

Since the website is sparce on content and lacks a fully populated “About Us” page, we did some additional research about Resort Legal Team.

The company has a YouTube channel under the same name as the company with over 200 subscribers which is higher than other timeshare exit companies we have seen.

The videos are mostly news reports which are from Wall Street Journal, CBS and other new stations. The content focuses mostly on how timeshare and vacation ownership developers pretty much scam people, so the reports are primarily the investigative type.

The company logo persistently appears throughout the video and we even located a video of a report that included Dave Ramsey who endorses another timeshare share exit company.  While the videos are informative, we were not able to find any of the videos that contained only Resort Legal Team’s original content and the videos are 99% news report content while the 1% is the animated intro video.

We also located a Facebook page for Resort Legal Team in which the tagline stated the company is a “consultancy agency” not a law firm.  The page does not appear to be active and at the time of this review, only “16” likes.

Finally, as a result of finding a case involving Wyndham Vacation Ownership and the Resort Legal Team we were able to locate that “Albert and Lisa Trevino” are owners of Resort Legal Team. We are not alarmed that a lawsuit existed or exists as many timeshare and vacation ownership developers file suit against timeshare exit companies.

Another item of interesting that comes up when searching for Resort Legal Team is a Hilton webpage that claims that the timeshare exit company mailed letters to their timeshare owners incentivizing them to cancel Hilton Grand Vacations timeshares. Hilton fought this, resulting in Resort Legal Team sending out retraction letters to their clients. The practice of blindly sending out such mail is usually a sign of a scam company, as legitimate businesses do not typically engage in such solicitation practices. However, we cannot claim this for sure in the case of Resort Legal Team.

Lastly, although “Trevino” is a common name we did find a valid connection between Lisa and Albert to 2 additional companies, “The Meeting Space” and “The Recovery Store” which focuses on drug recovery products, support, and assistance. Both Facebook pages appear to be active.

We were not able to find out much more information about the owners or much else on the web regarding Resort Legal Team.

Resort Legal Team Reviews

Although Resort Legal Team is a newcomer to the timeshare exit family compared to the rest of the timeshare exit companies, we did expect to see more reviews.

Our last review of this company was in 2019 and at that time, the business had only one positive Google review and no BBB complaints.

As of this review, Google shows a 4-star rating out of 5 based on 4 reviews.

Below is their lowest and most recent review:

The 4 other reviews were positive and brief, simply citing the company provided good customer service. The reviewers seem authentic.

To date, Resort Legal Team has one 5-star rating based on one BBB review seen below. The company is A+ rated and accredited by the BBB and no complaints filed.

We could not locate any Trust Pilot reviews or any other reviews about this company including none present on the company’s Facebook page.

Resort Legal Team Cost For Services

The Resort Legal Team cost does not appear online, much like other timeshare exit companies due to the specialized nature of their services and case-by-case costs. The team does provide a free consultation for their services via a contact form on their website.

Reviews on and off-site did not provide much insight into cost.

How Long is the Resort Legal Team Process?

Other than the one negative Google review, we could not locate any other information regarding how long the process usually takes when working with Resort Legal Team. In the Google review, the reviewer mentioned “10 months” and the response from Resort Legal Team stated that it’s a “complicated legal process” which is a fair statement. Every case is different, but it is also important to consider that the timeshare developer may not exactly cooperate in a timely manner which only prolongs the process.

Resort Legal Team’s “100% Risk Free” & Concluding Thoughts

It is not clear what Resort Legal Team means by “100% Risk Free” and in our last review from 2019, we read in their FAQ section (no longer on the company website), the company offered a money-back guarantee and that customers will be refunded if their timeshare is not cancelled 18 months after the start of their service agreement. We do not know if this is still offered and are only assuming that “100% Risk Free” is synonymous with “Money Back Guarantee”.

While money-back guarantees or “100% risk free” may seem to provide protection from scams, we typically do not like to recommend paying a timeshare exit company directly up-front. Too often, cases of timeshare exit companies disappearing with client’s money or going out of business without fulfilling their end of the service occur.

Resort Legal Team does appear to be legitimate company with overall positive reviews however,  we don’t know much about “who” the team is so we certainly like to recommend that our readers use an escrow option if you decide to partner with Resort Legal Team.

Using an escrow payment option is one of the best ways to protect yourself from scams. Low up-front fee escrow payment options allow for service charges to be paid first to a third-party holding account that only releases the funds to the company once the timeshare has been cancelled. Learn more about escrow and why you should care here.

Timeshare Cure Review

Timeshare Cure is yet another timeshare exit company that claims it can cancel your timeshare. The company is based in Branson, Missouri and has been in business since 2013. The official company name is Timeshare Cures, LLC.

The company’s website isn’t very impressive and does not look like it was completed. Some of the pages are blank or missing content and the homepage looks unprofessional. It is interesting that they have a Facebook widget on their homepage that displays comments from customer’s who’ve used their service. One of these customers, Ernie Perry, has the following to say about the company:

This comment is from 2 years ago, but it is odd that Timeshare Cure has allowed this comment on their homepage and hasn’t bothered to respond to it. This is not a good sign.

When reviewing the actual content on the website, nothing is out of the ordinary. The company doesn’t lie on its website, which is more than we can say about other timeshare exit companies.

It seems that “Timeshare Cure” is a name used for various timeshare exit companies dating back to 2011. When doing research, make sure you’re reading about the company in Branson, Missouri and not a company in Canada or anywhere else.

Timeshare Cure Cost & Fees

Timeshare Cure cost and fees are not available on the company’s website. Timeshare cancellation is a specialized service, so it is usually impossible to find a timeshare exit company’s cost on its website. Sometimes we’re able to get an idea of the cost from reviews and complaints, but in this case we aren’t able to find anything.

Timeshare Cure Reviews

Recent Timeshare Cure reviews on the company’s Facebook page are all positive. Customers mention a professional operation and are happy to finally be out of their timeshare.

Heading over to the Timeshare Cure BBB page and we see one negative review from a woman who had a similar experience of Ernie Perry. Apparently, she had signed up with the company, but was later asked for additional fees to cancel her timeshare. In this instance, Timeshare Cure did respond to the BBB complaint and offered a full refund. Two other reviews on the BBB are positive.

Overall, we still recommend working with timeshare exit companies that offer an escrow payment option, so you are 100% protected from all possible scams. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here. If you pay a company up-front, you have no guarantee that they’ll actually get you out of your timeshare. The company could simply take your money and disappear.

To learn more about how to exit your timeshare with a low up front fee escrow option, fill out the contact form on the right side of this page or initiate a live chat in the bottom right corner.

Aconsumercredit Review

Aconsumercredit is a timeshare exit company that went out of business in 2018.  It has an F with the BBB with 51 complaints closed in last 3 years as of 9/8/18. Several complaints on the BBB mention poor customer service with phone calls and emails not being returned. Some complaints mention waiting one or even two years for Aconsumercredit to cancel their timeshare and the service still not being completed.

We here at TimeshareExitCompanies.com have just recently spoken to a timeshare owner via live chat that was having difficulty getting Aconsumercredit to contact them back. Have a look at the live chat yourself:

Live chat occurred on Sept. 7, 2018.

This live chat is the reason we are now writing this review.

After reviewing the Aconsumercredit website, a few things stand out right from the start. For example, right on the homepage Aconsumercredit says, “We GUARANTEE that the staff at Aconsumercredit™ will get you out of your timeshare contract.” This doesn’t make sense because there are a few customers on the BBB who have said they’ve been waiting for Aconsumercredit to cancel their timeshare for more that two years.

There isn’t much of a point to continue reviewing the website because it is clear by this point that Aconsumercredit charges an up-front fee for its services. We here at TimeshareExitCompanies.com never recommend paying an up-front fee to cancel your timeshare. We always recommend paying for the cancellation service after the timeshare has been canceled with a timeshare escrow payment option. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here. When you use escrow, you don’t have to worry about the company going out of business. If it does, you can get your money back from escrow.

Aconsumercredit Reviews

Aconsumercredit reviews are overwhelming positive. The company has received several 1-star reviews on Google over the past few weeks and months. As mentioned previously, there are several poor reviews on the BBB as well. Yelp and Trustpilot both have several negative Aconsumercredit reviews as well. There are a few positive reviews mixed in, but these seem to all be from months or even years ago.

Aconsumercredit Cost

Like most timeshare exit companies, Aconsumercredit does not display its cost online. Timeshare cancellation is a specialized service that depends on your specific situation, so this makes sense. A few complaints on the BBB mention paying $2,000, $3,500 and $2,500 though.

Summary

In summary, we never recommend working with any timeshare exit company that charges an up-front fee. This is the only way to protect yourself from scams. Fill out the contact form or initiate a live chat on the right side of the page for more information on how to cancel your timeshare without paying an up-front fee.

Advocate Financial Services Review

Advocate Financial Services is yet another timeshare exit company that may be able to help you cancel your timeshare. The company has been in business since 2011 and is in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

It looks like this company operates a little bit differently from the other timeshare exit companies. Rather than working with lawyers to cancel your timeshare, Advocate Financial Services says that it offers an “Educational Platform” that helps owners learn about laws that can be used to help consumers get rid of their timeshare. Everything is a little vague, so let’s head over to the Contract Cancellation page to learn more.

Heading over to the Contract Cancellation page and Advocate Financial Services begins to explain that timeshare owners have certain rights under “Consumer Protection Laws.” They claim that if the timeshare company lied and deceived you, then you may be entitled to receive compensation. This information sounds good in theory, but it must be noted that it is typically very difficult for a timeshare owner to get any kind of refund when cancelling their timeshare.

The “Educational Platform” is mentioned again on the Contract Cancellation page, and raises a few questions. If the company does not work with lawyers, what exactly are they doing for you? Why would you need to educate yourself on consumer protection laws if you need to hire a lawyer to help you cancel your timeshare? If you hire the right lawyer, he or she should already know what the consumer protection laws are.

We have lots of questions about what this company can do for you that you couldn’t do yourself.

On the credentials page, the company mentions that it is insured and bonded with a $50,000 surety bond. This is the first we’ve seen of this “surety bond” from any timeshare exit company. Apparently, this can protect consumers if Advocate Financial Services does not perform the service as promised. This is a different angle to a low up front fee escrow option. Although this sounds good, we’d still recommend working with companies that offer an escrow payment option so the company does not get paid in full until after the work has been completed. This keeps the timeshare exit company motivated to complete the work so they can get paid from the escrow account. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here.

Advocate Financial Services Review

There aren’t many reviews of this company online that we can find. We do see two reviews on the company’s BBB page though. One positive and one negative. The negative review mentions harassing phone calls, but it was resolved. The positive review mentions a successful cancellation of the client’s timeshare.

There are several positive reviews on the company’s website on the Testimonial page. Advocate Financial Services does a good job on this page because the testimonials appear to be live audio recordings and pictures of hand written testimonial letters. These could of course be fakes, but they look real enough.

Advocate Financial Services Cost

The Advocate Financial Services cost is not available online. This is typical in the timeshare exit industry. Each timeshare situation is different, so costs can vary.

Overall, our recommendation does not change. Always use an escrow payment option when cancelling your timeshare. Learn more about escrow and why it’s important here. If you still have questions about cancelling your timeshare, contact us using live chat or submit a contact form on the right side of the page.

Trash Your Timeshare Review

Trash Your timeshare is a timeshare exit company based out of Fort Collins, CO. The company has an A+ with the BBB and has been in business since 2012.

Trash Your Timeshare is one of the only timeshare exit companies that offers a low up-front fee escrow option to cancel your timeshare. This is the #1 thing to look for when shopping for a timeshare exit company. When you pay a timeshare exit firm up-front to cancel your timeshare, you lose all control. The company could simply take your money up-front and never relieve you of your timeshare.

For example, let’s look at a company in Springfield, Missouri operating under the name of Last Resort Fee LLC. This company recently charged timeshare owners thousands of dollars up-front to cancel their timeshare and didn’t follow through with their promises. According to the Fox news release on Aug. 23, 2018 here, “Consumers tell BBB the Springfield business failed to honor contracts, issue refunds, return phone calls and provided overall poor customer service.“  This is what can happen when you pay a timeshare exit company up-front to cancel your timeshare. Don’t do it!

Low Up-Front Fee vs 100% Money Back Guarantee

Many timeshare exit companies offer a “100% money-back guarantee,” but that doesn’t really mean anything at all. Anyone can make big promises and then fall through on them later. What if the company goes out of business? Do you think you’ll be getting a refund then?

When you don’t pay up-front, you don’t have to worry about the timeshare exit company doing what it says it’s going to do. The timeshare exit company must complete the cancellation of your timeshare to get paid in full, so they have an incentive to work. Not paying an up-front fee is the only way to 100% protect yourself from scams.

Trash Your Timeshare Website Review

When looking at the Trash Your Timeshare website, we see a few things that we like. Starting with the “Your Options” page, we love how Trash Your Timeshare advises timeshare owners to first contact their resort when looking to cancel their timeshare. Sometimes the resort will have an exit option available, and the services of timeshare exit company are not needed. We like Trash Your Timeshare’s transparency in this regard.

The resale section on the “Your Options” page is a little less transparent, but more so than other timeshare exit companies. It is true that there isn’t much of a timeshare resale market, but some timeshares do have some value. For example, Disney timeshares are well-known for retaining some of their value after purchase and can usually be sold or rented on the resale market eventually. We’ll give Trash your Timeshare a pass on this because most Disney owners already know that their timeshares have some value.

Trash Your Timeshare Service Reviews

Aside from having a low up-front fee option, Trash Your Timeshare also has 50+ positive reviews on the BBB as of Aug. 24, 2018. This is very impressive. Reviews on the BBB are generally trustworthy because the BBB has a stringent process for verifying review legitimacy before allowing reviews to appear on their website

Trash Your Timeshare also has several positive testimonials on its website. Most companies have positive testimonials on their website, but these can be hard to trust because you never know if the company simply created the testimonials out of thin air. Trash Your Timeshare could benefit from a few video testimonials to help improve the trust factor.

Summary

Overall, our advice does not change. We only recommend working with timeshare exit companies that do not charge an up-front fee. This is what the FTC, the BBB and virtually all other consumer advocacy associations recommend, and it is also what we recommend at TimeshareExitCompanies.com. Trash Your Timeshare offers a low up-front fee option and provides transparent advice for timeshare owners on its website. Two very strong qualities. If you’re looking to cancel your timeshare, Trash Your Timeshare would be a good option to consider.

Disclosure – TimeshareExitCompanies.com will receive a referral fee if you choose to click one of the links in this post and submit a contact form on Trash Your Timeshare’s website. We like to recommend Trash Your Timeshare because they are one of the only timeshare exit companies that offers a low up-front fee escrow option, so you are protected from scams.

Resort Relief Review

Resort Relief is yet another timeshare exit company claiming it can get you out of your timeshare. The company has been in business since 2014 and is located in Conroe, TX.

We recently spoke with a timeshare owner who had a negative experience with this company. The timeshare owner told us that he heard Resort Relief advertising on the radio and gave them a call. He listened to their timeshare cancellation pitch and decided not to move forward with the service. Now he’s receiving more than ten calls a day badgering him to sign up with them. He told us he felt the calls were aggressive and harassing.

Not a good start to this review. Let’s have a look at the website.

Their homepage mentions that they have a lawyer ready to help you with your cancellation. This is important because a timeshare exit company that doesn’t use a lawyer to cancel your timeshare is likely a scam. However, just because they say they have a lawyer does not actually mean that they have one. Always make sure to verify who the lawyer is and what his/her credentials are before hiring a timeshare exit company.

The website lacks in content, but has no red flags.

Resort Relief Reviews

Resort Relief reviews on the Internet are a mix of positive and negative. There is a concerning number of negative reviews on the BBB, Google and more. Similar to what we heard from a timeshare owner, one customer on Google mentioned that Resort Relief won’t stop calling. Others mention that it’s a scam.

There are some positive reviews on the BBB, but several negative reviews on other websites. Many negative reviews mention the law firm of Castle Law Group that was shut down. The attorney of Castle Law Group was also disbarred. Looks like Resort Relief was working with Castle Law Group when it was shut down and several owners were scammed out of their money. This is why we always recommend working with timeshare exit companies that offer a low up front fee escrow option.
